"Room was extremely dirty found a white substance in a bag in the room. Hotel is filled with dogs as people live there full-time the floor I was staying on smelled like dog urine"

"The need to "ask for cleaning" is trash. Everyone knows that. They dont even tell you that at checkin.
Now that ive got that out...this hotel is great. There is construction which only meant a sound during the day, but it was quiet at night. The rooftop bar is amazing. The gym is functional. The area around it is great. I needed to work remotely and the lobby is essentially a giant coworking space.
Just clean the rooms by default yall. Clean. The. Rooms."
"The Jefferson was great. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. It’s a beautiful old hotel but room was updated and well kept. The grounds and lobby are grand and you should stay here just to see them."
"The outside as you enter was not pleasant with old furniture and burn holes on the cushions from smokers who hung out there. That is my biggest complaint. I understand the need to provide a smoking area but it should not be at the front entrance!
I was extremely disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not available. There was no indication online when I booked that they were under repair/renovation. Everything else was above average including a nice clean breakfast area and food. I would stay there again."
