Perfect place

The hotel is more than perfect, nice and clean. Location is perfect, near lots of places and safe. The breakfast is excelent and a nice place to have a coffee or a wine in the afternoon.

Amazing hotel in Valparaiso

This hotel was fantastic, the port view was wonderful and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. In addition the breakfast was great and the outdoor seating in the garden was beautiful. The hotel was also right near incredible restaurants and great boutique shops. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Valparaiso

Very nice boutique hotel

A really beautiful small boutique-style hotel. Incredibly beautiful views from the room's window and the hotel's terrace. Nice staff and good service. Attractions of Cerro Alegre and the Valparaiso city center and port nearby.

Beautiful hotel, unassuming from the outside but beautiful and relaxing inside with tremendous views from the dining room and outdoor patio. Staff were so so helpful and incredibly friendly. Very knowledgeable and so welcoming.

Personalized service in a great location. Lovely outdoor space and breakfast. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Overall great stay. One area for improvement was the rug in our room. Stains and large pull in the rug made it appear less clean in comparison to other areas of the property.

Hotel Zero was perfecto! We only had one night in Valparaiso and we wanted to be in the center of the artistic cultural area but close to lots of transportation to get around the area. Hotels had gorgeous gardens and sitting areas with epic views. It was intimate with fun and loveliness right outside the door. Room was pretty and very clean and also had incredible views. Highly recommend.

Period property in a good location for exploring Valparaiso. Positives- The place has character, a very comfortable bed and decent breakfast. Negatives- There is a $20 USD charge for parking, which was only disclosed after booking. The hotel said the charge was due to limited parking spaces but there were spaces available on the street. The parking charge should be disclosed before booking, not after. - Hotel should inform guests not to put paper in the toilet as it got blocked! - The shower takes a long time to warm up and the water drains very slowly and also gets blocked. - Could be cleaner too.

We stayed here two nights. We are Americans used to boring, run-of-the-mill hotels with no character and neutral staff who don’t like the guests. This was a lovely break from our norm. Everyone was super friendly, desirous to make our stay happy and give recommendations. The ceilings were super high in our room overlooking the bay, with a chandelier and lovely paint color. It felt like being in an early 1900’s great house. They have a gardener who comes to create gorgeous flowers and trees over 3 different terraces where you can go sit outside to eat or sip wine at sunset. The area in general is like the rest of Valparaiso with some dirt and grunge, but stepping into this hotel was like a most lovely sanctuary. Highly recommend. They lock the gate getting in and out and recognize you by face so there is no fear of random people coming off the street. This may be normal in South America but we noted it as the whole place felt and seemed very secure. They helped us get a taxi for our trip to the vineyards as well, which was nice.
