"I thought this perfectly adequate, more than that if I’m honest. Okay, it’s not in the city centre but it’s easy to navigate to from either Perrache or Part Dieu. There’s an Italian restaurant a minute’ walk with other options a 5 minute walk including Columbus for coffee. There’s also a Picard close by as well as many VeloV stations if you wanted to take a bike. Cyclists do seem to be respected and feels less dangerous than in the U.K.. "The hotel is conveniently located near the railway station, and the staff was kind. The bed was comfortable, but the building is in serious disrepair: curtains hanging off the rails, broken ceiling panels, peeling paint, loose bathroom tiles, and heavily worn carpets in the hallways. It feels like no maintenance has been done in years, which really overshadows the positives. "

"Everything about the Carlton Hotel Lyon MGallery Colletion was excellent. size Very surprised with such a big and nice bathroom iln my room. Situated in a very good location, you could easily walk around the city. Metro station was just 2 blocks away. Very friendly staff. Fluent in english and spanish they were always willing to help me get to different places I needed to go. Breakfast was excellent. Service was amazing. Definetely, a place to stay while in Lyon."

"Enjoyed our stay in OKKO hotel Lyon Pont Lafayette. We were able to walk to the old town and some other major sites within 15 minutes. We appreciated very much the various snacks, cakes, fruits, and coffee provided by the hotel each afternoon and evening. We also tried breakfast for two mornings in the hotel and found the selections more than adequate. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and sight-seeing options. Area around the hotel is pretty peaceful."
