"J'ai fait une réservation de derniere minutes via le site internet expedia mais malheureusement lors de notre arriver le gérant étais géné car la chambre que j'avais réservé n'était pas disponible. Heureusement il a trouvait une solution et nous a mis dans une autre chambre dans un autre bâtiment. Sa n'avais rien avoir avec la chambre réservé mais au moin ne me suis pas retrouvé a la rue avec mes 2 garçons. Merci a lui d'avoir trouvé une solution. "We stayed in 11 properties across Europe on our trip and this is the only hotel that stood out above the rest. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so helpful, friendly, attentive, and discreet. The property is old and well maintained and our room was charming, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of on-street parking outside and the village is quiet (safe for motorcycles). We hadn’t planned on booking dinner but when it arrived, wow!!! We got the the finest of classic French cooking with an impressive wine list and friendly service. Dinner was so good we booked again for the second night. The property is 30 mins from Le Man and 4 hrs from Roscoff making it a convenient stop on the way to/from the Ferry in Brittany. We would definitely visit this place again."

"A pleasant small hotel in a sleepy small town which has a massive Hogwartsesque abbey by the river. A very pleasant place for a short visit. The rooms were comfortable and clean and we had an excellent dinner in the restaurant."

"The hotel is in a very convenient location near Le Mans. In August 2026 there were building works going on on the site. The staff on reception were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was self service but a good range of foods and drinks on offer; the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. Be aware that the restaurant is not open on a Sunday evening; we unfortunately were not aware of this in advance! Our room was on the ground floor, spacious enough and very clean. As we were travelling with our dog, this was perfect. There is a small local park nearby which was also very useful."

"Idyllic, quiet stop over in the middle of nowhere. Just what we needed after a day on the road. Lovely host. Yummy breakfast and some friendly little ducks and HUGE carp in the pond!"

"I highly highly recommend staying here. The castle was cool, very peaceful, calm, and very clean. We got in late and Christian was able to make a couple phone calls and find us an excellent place to eat. It ended up being the best meal of the entire trip! Homemade jam and juice topped off the morning. We are sad that we could not stay longer!!"
