Catastrophique

L’arrivĂ©e s’est bien passĂ©, nous avons rejoint notre chambre et afin de se mettre alaise nous avons voulu prendre une douche, lĂ , surprise, pas d’eau chaude!!! Aux vues des tempĂ©ratures extĂ©rieures nous avons quand mĂȘme pris nĂŽtre douche. Je prĂ©viens la rĂ©ception et elle me dit qu’elle fait le nĂ©cessaire, en effet nous voyons un artisan Ă  l’hĂŽtel 2h plus tard. Nous voulons prendre l’apĂ©ritif et manger, pour l’apĂ©ro pas de soucis mais pour manger, les patrons et le cuisinier sont en vacances et le restaurant attenant Ă  l’hĂŽtel est fermĂ© pour congĂ©s estivales, une synchronisation exemplaire !! RĂ©sultat, repas moyen fait par les deux personnes de la rĂ©ception. Arrive l’heure de se coucher et d’un seul coup on entend des clac clac clac dans les tuyaux des radiateurs, j’essaye de joindre la rĂ©ception et la personne ne rĂ©pond, des clac clac clac plus rĂ©gulier et de plus en plus fort ne cessent jusqu’à 2h du matin!!! Heure oĂč je me dĂ©cide Ă  descendre pour stopper ce bruit infernale. Je trouve le disjoncteur le la chaufferie et je le coupe, lĂ , plus un bruit... soulagĂ©, nous nous endormons enfin. Au petit matin lors du rĂšglement du dĂ©part j’ai prĂ©venu de mon dĂ©sagrĂ©ment de la nuit et la, pour mon dĂ©dommagement ils m’ont comptĂ© le prix des petits dĂ©jeuners en buffet au lieu de pris en chambre, un total de 4€ de remise exceptionnel !!!! Et en plus je me suis fait rĂ©primander car j’avais couper la chaudiĂšre de chauffage !!! En Ă©tĂ© !!! On marche sur la tĂȘte dans cette Ă©tablissement

Dans le descriptif de l'hotel est inscrit qu 'il y a la clim dans les chambres et sur place constatation il n'y en avait pas aprÚs demande d'explication a la direction qui ma rétorqué (avec un sourire narquois ) que l'erreur vient du site et qu il n était pas responsable. Au vue de leur attitude et au forte temperature(30°)dans la chambre je ne retournerai plus jamais dans cette établissement.

In a very rural location, difficult to find

The hotel is sign posted of sorts along the way, but without a sat nav you could be wandering the back roads of France for a long time trying to find the hotel. They have a sign in Reception that says we speak English, but I never met this person, at check out I was helped by a fellow (French) guest otherwise I might still be there. Breakfast was OK'ish, but when we arrived the buffet has just 2 slices of cheese and three slices of ham to choose from. The tea and coffee were both look warm from their machine.

Attractive escape 'far from the madding crowd'.

Stopover on way to Ferry. Very comfortable hotel in relaxed, country setting. Well converted country farm with excellent private parking and attractive haven of calm. Only drawback was no cooling or fan on a very hot evening.

VERY ENJOYABLE STAY

We had one night at this lovely little hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The gentleman on reception was very courteous and helpful. Our room was comfortable with old fashioned charm and had everything we needed. We found the buffet breakfast to be very good value with a good range of food and drink. The dining room was very pleasant and we sat overlooking the lake. The same gentleman on reception came and made sure we had everything we needed. It was very quiet and peaceful and we left feeling very contented and happy with our stay.

Good stop over for a room

This hotel was a great place to stop for a night, however, it is room only so don't forget to visit the supermarche the night before or you will be asked for quite a bit each for a continental breakfast. However the bar is open in the morning for coffee... A warning the hotel does not open until five pm so plan your journey and don't turn up before that, because everything is locked. The manager was very helpful, changed the light bulb when asked and sorted out a bed issue fairly quickly as we had booked two doubles instead of a double and twin. He was generally very pleasant. A nice little gym, a pool room in the bar and a good pizzeria that does not belong to the hotel and that was pretty reasonable.
