If you want peace and serenity, this is the spot! Amazing views, super quiet, nothing but sounds of nature! Our host Eric is a very friendly person and went out of his way for us and took us to a local waterfall that’s only know to the locals and we had an excellent day. Anything we needed, he was always there for us. Just an overall amazing stay! Thank you so much Eric

If heaven was a place on earth, this is it. The Villa is beautiful. The views are breathtaking. Villa Costa Pura Vida was 1/4 places we stayed and was by far the best. I would absolutely recommend booking your next stay here.

Spectacular … if you book this place it will spoil you for the rest of your trip. Private pool was amazing, outdoor kitchen was great for entertaining or simply to enjoy a home cooked meal. Many species of birds were seen on a daily basis - the beat being a dorante of toucans!! Thank you for the wonderful accommodations and view.

The loft is comfortable and with an amazing mountain view. Our hosts were nice and welcoming. In rainy season it is recomened to have a 4x4 vehicle to acces the property parking space.

Pictures do not do this place justice! It is a beautiful and super nice! My partner and I loved staying here! The view is immaculate! The owner is very friendly and will happily answer any questions or concerns you might have! :) you must stay here if you want privacy and the beautiful rainforest and wildlife surrounding you. I loved this property!!! It was private and well cared for. It was a beautifully designed, well thought out space. Loved the sunrises in the morning and the bird chatter all day! Private pool was so gorgeous. Had everything I needed. Owners were very accommodating. You DO need a 4 wheel drive for the drive way but once you figure it out it is easy. Will be back!!!!!

We stayed in the Superior Villa/Villa Agalla and the view was beautiful. The property felt secluded and we enjoyed our stay. This villa does need some maintenance, but overall a wonderful week. For example, the shower floor tiles are loose and will stick to to the bottom of your feet. We couldn't use the grill because it is charcoal but the bottom is burned out of it. There is no air conditioned common space, it is all open air. However, the bedrooms are air conditioned for a good nights sleep. If we return to the same area, we would definitely stay here again.

Location was amazing and the villa was stunning. Waking up to the jungle surroundings through the bedroom was fantastic. Beautiful quiet area with a great soda nearby. Wishes we’d booked 3 nights!

Getting there is half the fun! :-) As others have said, it's up, up, up a mountain, and then down a driveway, plus a lot of steps to the unit. But if you're used to Costa Rican roads, you'll have seen worse. The view is worth it, and so is the incredible waterfall/cave shower. Very romantic for a couple. Be aware that it is TWO units on top of each other, and we were in the bottom unit, but we still had plenty of privacy, peace, and beauty. The restaurants/shops at the bottom of the hill are wonderful...we will be back.

magnifique séjour très convivial dans un lodge très fonctionnel au milieu de la nature. réveil au chant des oiseaux, environnement nature, la descente en voiture nécessite un 4X4 mais une fois arrivé que du bonheur. Eric, qui nous a réceptionné, est très sympathique et prêt à rendre service.
