A pleasant winter break.

Apartment was clean and spacious. Plenty of linen. Within easy walking distance of the beach and the town centre. Enjoyed our stay and slept soundly each night with no disturbance.

L'excellence...

Nous avions l'habitude de voyager au Portugal grâce au parrain portugais de mon fils et cette année, nous avons fait principalement la côte sud portugaise. Le temps n'était pas au beau fixe, nous reviendrions avec plaisir, en mai ou en juin. Pour résumer, nous avons eu un accueil plus que généreux et nous avons été très bien logés, merci à vous !

Good location for warm weather training trip

Athletics training trip and apartment right on trail which was perfect. Apartment was clean, tidy and modern with 3 double bedrooms and plenty of living space, we had 5 adults staying. The balcony gets nice evening sunshine. Whilst there were 2 toilets we were disappointed by there only being one shower/bath and the shower could have been improved as it wasn't very powerful. It advised limited service/once a week but there was none but there is a washing machine available and a big Lidl supermarket is a bike ride away and within 2miles. One night the electrics kept tripping - it appears you cannot have the oven and hob on at the same time but the fuse box was in the hallway so just had to keep flicking it back on! The overall area the apartment is the only thing that really let's it down, constantly barked at and having aggressive dogs run at you both outside in the car park area and in the stairwells leading up the apartment and disrespectful owners. The downstairs door to the apartment complex was broken which allowed children to come in and litter stairwells etc which needs to be fixed. We hired bikes but after leaving one locked up outside it was vandalised the same night and tyre let down/punctured which we had to return and subsequently forced to keep our bikes in the apartment. However we did have a comfortable and enjoyable stay and we would consider returning again would just advise being wary with belongings as this is a residentially located apartment.

Staying in Monte Gordo

The apartment was very clean and well appointed. Good location (only 5 minutes walk from the beach). One issue was noisy neighbours ( 2 nights) and dogs barking at night. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.

Very good

Very nice, clean and. If anything p, they should send a cleaner round once every three or four days. It would help for longer term stays

Lovely, spacious apartment in a residential area.

A lovely, comfortable and modern apartment in a quiet location. The only drawback we experienced was the difficulty the transfer drivers found in locating the property. The property is called Apartamentos Rosa, but this name is not displayed anywhere, as the apartments are privately owned, located within blocks amongst other privately-owned flats. The postal address provided did not seem to fully apply to where the flats / apartments are actually situated, and the block numbers are also very confusing to the eye. The Greenbus Shuttle driver became extremely rude and aggressive towards us when his Sat Nav couldn't locate the flat!! The apartment owner very kindly spoke to him on my mobile phone, in order to give directions in Portugese, and the driver was nasty and aggressive towards him too!! Not a great start to the holiday. Eventually we were met by the maid who welcomed us, showed us around the apartment, and gave us the keys. On our pick up, the next driver was again unable to locate us, even though I had rang to provide additional directions. The apartment itself more than made up for the unpleasant Greenbus driver. A lovely, spacious apartment, within approximately a 7 minute walk from town centre where all the restaurants, bars and shops are located. I will be lodging a complaint with Greenbus (a company I would NOT recommend) due to the appalling and aggressive attitude of the driver. The apartment is fully equipped with all mod cons. Very pleasing and comfortable.
