Bathroom was really dingy....lots of dark stains and hard water stains around the shower, and water kept flowing into the rest of bathroom. The shower/bathroom was poorly designed with floor pitching away from the shower, and there is no lip/edge to prevent water from just flowing out of the shower into the rest of the bathroom. I Asked Front desk to at least fix or change out the shower head so I could stand a little further away to reduce this "flooding" of the bathroom. After a whole day out, I came back to see really nothing was done, even though front desk lady said "it was fixed", and I asked if anyone actually even entered the room, and she said she didn't know!! How do u "fix a shower" without entering the room? I know tech is progressing fast, but so far(thankfully) there are no e-showers just yet that can get a wifi update! LOL! I flatly asked the lady if they just tell people whatever to make them go away, and she said no blah blah...I said thanks for your time and left it at that.
After the 2 days, I came back to find a new shower head!
So, clearly the 1st "it's all fixed" response on day1 was not correct.
It's insulting to my intelligence if Le Meridien staff think I will NOT know the difference!
We kept having to mop up the water after every shower and dry the tower and repeat at next shower use.
Property shows its age. Usually, outside the US, Marriott hotels are absolutely awesome...this one, with the dingy bathroom, is NOT.
