There is a bar attached to this hotel with live music. We were in room 360 which shares a wall with the bar. Music stops at 10pm but loud people until 10:30pm.

Fairmont Empress
I had an overall pleasant stay at the Fairmont Empress. The service and staff were excellent. I was especially grateful for the early check-in accommodation, which made my arrival much smoother and was truly appreciated.
