It was one of the cleanest and comfortable hostel I’ve ever stayed in around the world. From amenities to decorations, i could tell the owner cares about the place and the guests.

Super comfortable, very relaxing. Room was modern and clean. Heated bathroom floor. Shared space was nice. Breakfast was standard Icelandic style, coffee was good. I would definitely stay there again.

I liked the view. However, no staff at front desk after hours and force you to call them. We came in late and didn’t have international phone service so we had to call Expedia turning in USA service. Staff drove to property 30-40 min later and checked us in.

Dear Sunny. Sorry to hear about your experience. If we are not around during check in at low season or late hours, we leave the key at the front desk, with instructions. We also have a telephone at the front desk for calling to us if needed. If we are contacted we normally take just a few minutes to arrive, since we are living close to the guesthouse. Hope you will enjoy your stay in Iceland.

Wir haben sehr spontan gebucht. Der Check-In war sehr unkompliziert und die Angestellten waren super freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und man hat alles, was man braucht. Das Frühstück war auch super lecker und bot eine große Auswahl. Würde diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen!

Beautiful stay! One of our favorites in Iceland. The rooms were spacious and continental breakfast was a nice treat. Nice bathrooms and convenient parking across the lot right next to a gas pump.

Prima plek voor een overnachting. Goede kamer, mooie gedeelde badkamers. Kleine keuken. Aardige mensen! Restaurantje naast de deur. De lokatie is niet zo bijzonder maar dat maakt voor 1 nacht niet uit.

Nachts etwas laut aber schön
Schöne Unterkunft mit Frühstück, die naheliegende Fabrik(?) ist nachts leider (sehr) laut (dröhnend), alles andere war super, alles sauber und nett eingerichtet, auch die kleine Küche konnten wir bis 23 Uhr benutzen.

Excellent, comfortable property overlooking the harbour with easy street parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Small kitchenette had everything needed for a short stay. Access to a washer and dryer was unexpected and much appreciated. Laundry detergent was provided. Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed our dinner in the adjacent Restaurant Vegamot which also houses a small grocery store and gift shop. Wish we had booked two nights!

Nice, quiet, comfy and cozy
Really nice and cozy little guesthouse/hotel. Comfy beds, great local breakfast buffet. Our room overviewed the little harbour with fishing boats going out and in.

Spacious, pretty, cozy, comfortable and clean room with a nice partial view of the ocean. The common kitchen upstairs was very convenient, and the included breakfast downstairs was nice. Sabina was really nice to us during our stay: thank you Sabina!. Would go back and would recommend

Great little place with top service
Great little place which we booked as it was the closest to the Dynjandi falls (probably 90 minutes away) when travelling from the south. Personnel very friendly and helpful right from the start, at the check-in, when they shared a lot of information about the area as well as the accommodation. Shout out to Sabina. Nice and cleam room and bathroom, I only wish the room were a tad bigger as there was no space between the 2 beds. For a double bedroom (rather than twin), it'd be ok. The entrance door is heavy, not easy to open. Maybe there's something they could do about that. Everything else is pretty great. Breakfast is included, with a nice selection available from the buffet. There's a petrol station and and a nice restaurant/shop next door where we... filled up :)

Guesthouse cosy dans un très beau fjord !
Cette Guesthouse était tout ce que je recherchais pour un séjour en Islande en automne : un accueil très chaleureux (conseils personnalisés sur la région, astuces pour trouver les bains chauds "secrets" du coin, une chambre confortable et pratique (vue sur le très beau fjord en plus !), une petite cuisine très agréable, et la possibilité de bouquiner dans le salon avec un thé et des biscuits à n'importe quelle heure de la journée. Le petit déjeuner inclu est délicieux (fruits, muesli varié ++ et graines, charcuterie, fromage, yaourt...). J'ai prolongé mon séjour en découvrant l'endroit. (pour la sécurité, il faut bien vérifier l'état des routes avant de venir à la Guesthouse par contre)

Wonderful Service
The wonderful young woman who served us and EVERYBODY else was just superb. She is definitely a great multitasker, especially in the morning with the checkout and breakfast. Our room was really cute and clean but small. The shared bathrooms were fine but the kitchenette, while cute, really couldn’t meet the demand of more than one or two people max. Especially because of Covid and no open restaurant the kitchenette didn’t work well.
