Our room at guesthouse Arni was very comfortable and clean. Our host was an excellent communicator and instructions and expectations were very clear. Location is great for exploring the island. We had a bit of a wait for the one bathroom with a shower because all the rooms were full while we were there, but there was a second bathroom with a toilet. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Owner was very helpful keeping us informed about ferry service changes due to weather. Our 2-bedroom plus kitchen was fantastic for 2-parents and college age kids. Comfortable property to stay at while seeing the island.

Very simple but clean - 1 shared shower!
Clean guesthouse - there are not a lot of accommodations available here so we were happy to have a place but just really know what a guest is before you book. There was 1 shower for the whole place (we counted at least 14 guests) and one extra toilet upstairs. So maybe this is the day you don’t shower : ) manage your expectations and you will be happier. Beds were comfortable and host was nice. I never got an email with instructions from hotels.com so I had to call and get the instructions and room number the day we arrived. If you want to see the puffins you might need to stay overnight to give yourself a couple of chances to go to the cliffs and just hang for a while. You have to be patient. Also with the money you save staying here make sure to splurge on dinner at Slippurinn - best meal we had in Iceland!
Best puffin viewing is 10 minutes away

Comfy and cozy
Really nice guesthouse with lots of amenities. Walking distance to everything in town, lots of parking on the street, well equipped kitchen and lounging areas. Host was very good about sending check in information in advance. Cute little room upstairs with a WC and shower was downstairs. I would recommend this guesthouse for sure!

Nice lodging
We were sent full instructions about arrival. Our room was small but beds were comfy. Basic but comfy. There was access to a kitchen and sitfing room but we were only there 1 night and didn't use either. Good location. Clean, nice shared bathroom.

This is a cute house on a quiet street. Very easy parking, the place is very clean and spacious, nice big kitchen. The room was cute, shared bathroom upstairs, and shower downstairs. Bring sleep mask if coming in the summer! :) Would definitely stay again!
