Nice spacious room. Was upgraded to a king. Suite style. Great shower! Clean, comfortable. Had stove top, micro, nearly full sized frig. But no cooking dishes, utensils or dishware. Not even mugs, glasses or coffeemaker set up. Breakfast had a nice variety of options. Kept stocked. Parking was convenient to room.
Staff was very helpful, friendly and had everything organized and presentable. Rooms were as described and well stocked. Breakfast was fantastic with a large variety of fresh options. Excellent experience.
Clean comfortable great stay. Would definitely stay again!

Fine motel for an overnight stop
We stayed for 1 night for JMU graduation. It’s a basic motel right off 81, exactly as you’d expect. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was surprisingly good compared to other motel continental breakfasts we’ve had.
In the area for two nights for a family event. Convenient access to I-81. Clean room, good breakfast, friendly staff. My wife also enjoyed shopping at the large Antique/consignment store next door. Would stay again if in the area.
It was a good place to stay, pretty quiet area too. Staff were nice and helpful. There is a very rude old man that works there who isn’t particularly friendly not just to residents but also to other staff. Overall though we liked it.
Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I wish the handicapped room had a taller toilet. The only issue was the noise with every room having an outside door and window.
Room was spacious and had fridge, freezer, small cooktop, prep sink and microwave. Staff were very nice. Bed was comfortable; breakfast was fine. Would stay here again.
Love that there is a kitchen that we can cook our food. It’s clean and breakfast is the best. Thanks to the employee that let us eat 30 min before breakfast time at 6:30am

excellent staff and really good value for a quick stay and breakfast was standard. However the facility is really like a motel style, rooms are really small (though have everything you need - microwave, full size fridge, stove etc). The towels were extremely thin and worn and some bedsheet had cigaret bud burnt hole and some stain as well.

Not the Best
Service was excellent, the front desk folks are kind and helpful. The room was not clean. Price was fair for the room and age of location. We had to cancel remaining days after the first night because of allergic reaction to dust and dirt.

Clean which is the important part. Good for one night.
Humid, but start the to cool the place and it is fine Near a 7-11 stire
This hotel/motel is extremely clean. It appears to be new. All appliances are new. The breakfast was great. I have nothing but positives to say. Treat yourself this place is awesome and very affordable.
How other reviews say “really clean” baffles me. The people reviewing must not consider dead cockroaches and some live ones as being unclean and glaringly shows the class of the people reviewing this hotel as clean. Or maybe it’s just bot accounts? Staff has been super friendly. Heater doesn’t work and the door lets in air as thou its partially open. For a ONE night stay on a really tight budget it’s a roof over your head, albeit a cold one.

It was pleasant to see that the property made some room renovations since I've been there last; the room was very comfortable. The only suggestion to them (I forgot to tell them upon check-out) is for maintenance to make an effort to remove their collected trash that was left at the bottom of the stairs.

Room wasn’t ready even two hours after check in time and we were then put into a ‘smoking’ room instead when that wasn’t our preference. Didn’t feel entirely safe, was glad I wasn’t staying alone.

Small kitchen with stove top, sink, fridge, and microwave. Remodeled bath. Comfortable beds. A little rough....mising one lamp shade, one temperature control on the heater/air conditioner punched through. Free wifi difficult to connect

Absent Staff
The room was neat, clean and comfortable. kitchenette was a plus. Service was abominable. Sunday morning breakfast was to be served at 6:30; at 6:45 there was no staff at the desk, or breakfast station. Nothing was prepared for service. No staff was available in the building and remained so until almost 8, when I was checking out. No explanation was given. Part of the price paid was a full breakfast; which didn't happen. Will never stay here again!!
