"The room was nice. Had everything we needed. Language barrier aside, the staff were friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Our passports were held overnight which was disconcerting, but normal I hear. My only complaint is the motion sensor light in the stairwell shut off mid staircase leaving us to use our cell phone lights to get up to our room."

Another guest had a cold, I assume, and we listened to him blow his nose (or honk it) vigorously for hours. Same with toilet flushing, teeth brushing and shaving. We could hear it all. "The best thing about the stay was Luana. She was helpful, knowledgeable and helpful. The heating unit did not heat the room sufficiently and the floors were way too cold. Rugs would have helped. It would also be helpful to have separate heating in the bathroom along with hotter water for the shower."

"This is a multi-generational family-run property and they make you feel like family. It is just outside Piazza Amerina and a few minutes drive from the must-see Villa Romana. So much easier than trying to drive to and park at a hotel in the city. Parking is free. There is a restaurant onsite, which is also where you check in/out. The bed was comfy and the room & bathroom were spacious. Everyone from the owner & his mother to the extended family and cleaning staff treated us warmly. "
