「This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking. The suite we stayed in had a full kitchen, a super comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a beautiful balcony with a view of the hills. The property is very quiet and located in such a peaceful area. If we ever go back to...

Limited choice but very good Negative - high level of humidity in the room. - smell of humidity as well as mold - the mattress is really bad. Both of us ended up in the middle. Need to be changed asap - this was the most expensive hotel during our vacation and the worst one. 」

「Only thing we regret is that we only started one night here as we on the way from Portugal to Spain! We couldn’t say enough about this historical hotel and can’t wait to expect one day we return for the longer stay. The free breakfast was served on an ancient stone table, hotel also served a wonderful dinner, it was delicious! 「Lovely comfortable stay. Although the weather was not great, we were warm and comfortable in a lovely T2 house with modern, tasteful interior. Communication from host was excellent. Our dog loved it too. Highly recommended. 」
