Amazing old palazzo in a beautiful rustic medieval hilltop village. The owner, Dorothy is very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast!

The property was one of the most impressive that we have ever experienced. It was built in the 1700's in the French style and contained many antiques. Dorothy, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exquisite. The property was a little difficult to find with the small streets. A number "49" and the property name on the entry would be helpful.

A real palace in the Italian countryside

Venafro is a special place! Close to Cassino, exceedingly tranquil and definitely not overrun by tourists. Dimora del Prete is a beautiful and well preserved palace with historical significance but with modern touches and amenities. During our stay we felt well taken care of with a yummy and elegantly set out breakfast. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and special. Our host, Angela, appeared out of nowhere with her perfect English and eagerness to assist us in just about everything from parking our car to finding a perfect gift for our son. The tour of the opulent palace that she gave us was an unexpected bonus and made us delve into 18-19th century Italian history. In sum, our stay was outstanding and we’re very glad that our Italian trip included Dimora del Prete and Venafro.

AMAZING

This place is MIND BLOWING! It is not modern BUT if you like to feel like a king and stay in what is basically a castle THIS IS IT! Will most likely come back everytime I am in close proximiti.

It was a wonderful experience to stay overnight at Dimora del Prete di Belmonte. Dorothy is a wonderful host and very kind. Although it was raining, the property is beautiful and the view from the garden and the terrasse in particular, are fabulous. I slept very well with a luscious comforter and did my morning meditation looking out at the mountains. I would love to come back with my husband some day. Thank you Dorothy! Sali

Für 2 Nächte ok, aber viel Luft nach oben

Das Gebäude ist historisch, das Zimmer in dem wir übernachtet haben, sehr abgenutzt. Neues Mobiliar wäre sehr wünschenswert und auch in den Schränken sollte mal geputzt werden. Zimmerreinigung fand tgl. statt. Frühstück ausreichend und wurde an den Tischen serviert. Man durfte zwischen herzhaften und süßem Frühstück auswählen

Splendida e signorile struttura che ti fa fare un tuffo nel passato. Arredata con gusto e attenzione per i dettagli, persino nei piatti utilizzati per la colazione. La gentilissima signora Dorothy ci ha fatto sentire come fossimo quasi di famiglia, facendoci passare una serata in compagnia dei suoi parenti. Nessun hotel cinque stelle potrà mai competere con la Dimora del Prete. Sicuramente se torneremo in zona, prenoteremo ancora per ripetere la bellissima esperienza.

die anfahrt zum Haus ist schlecht beschrieben, man muss die Kirch Cristo finden dann ist das haus gegenüber, aber ansonsten ist es ein herrschaftliches Anwesen mit exzellentem frühstück, sehr zu empfehlen.

Если вы хотите перенестись на машине времени в прошлое,то вам обязательно надо приехать сюда и ощутить всю красоту и уклад жизни того времени. Это уникальное место по сути является музеем и провести ночь в музее - это незабываемые ощущения. В доме сохранилось тепло семьи которая проживала там. Очень приятно было познакомиться с Maria которая ответила на все интересующие нас вопросы и накормила прекрасным завтраком. Мы обязательно вернёмся сюда снова при первой возможности! Спасибо за прекрасные впечатления!

Enchanting Mountain Retreat

This B & B is really a palace with old, historic rooms. It is in a small, enchanting village in central Italy surrounded by mountains. The rooms are tastefully furnished, very clean, and romantic. When we left we felt we were leaving family. The hostess/owner/curator is so hospitable and genuine. We were welcomed on this anniversary trip with a pitcher of homemade wine. There is a lovely little garden with a palm tree and wonderful views. The breakfasts are fully Italian, with (Italian) sausage, eggs, cappuccino, salami, prosciutto, fruit, breads, homegrown olive oil, jams, and seconds if you want. The views from our balconies overlooking Venafro and the mountains are enchanting. Can't say enough about Dorothy -- and Venafro, and the people there. You'll want to come back the next year, as we plan to.
