It's a great hotel with proximity to historic places in Kashi. The hotel amenities are great, and the staff is excellent! We enjoyed the stay and highly recommend it. Mr Rajesh helps with local arrangements for almost everything. He is outstanding and helpful.

The hotel is in perfect location for the ghats and major attractions in Varanasi. Loads of shops and good restaurants within walking distance. Facilities are clean and well maintained, room clean and comfortable and a fair size. Staff pleasant and provides and attentive service. Airport transfers are competitively priced. The only draw back for us was breakfast which did not provide a lot of choice for western palates.

Meals felt freshly prepared, excellent service from the gentlemen cleaning the rooms, serving in the dining area, check in staff. Mr Aman Gupta the guide for the Ganga Arti. Mr Prakash who checked us out. Mr Rajesh the concierge, he arranged the tour perfectly. The gentlemen who worked as security and made sure they opened the doors and called a rickshaw every single time. Thank you for a most pleasant stay.

Great option in Varanasi

Very comfy room and terrific location in Varanasi. Just close enough—5 minutes walk—to the ghats to be totally convenient, but just enough outside the main part of the old city to feel like a bit of a haven. Room in good shape, solid restaurant. Only complaint is that the staff is a bit too hover-y and solicitous in the restaurant, but that’s a small thing.

This hotel is lovely and even though on main road it is quiet inside with a really good quality of rooms. Each room is air conditioned and has really good facilities. The team are brilliant helping with questions about where to go shopping negotiating Rikshaw prices. The food is hot and whilst you have to remember at breakfast food comes first and then your hot drink there is nothing to complain about and the prices are reasonable. A really lovely hotel to stay in.

The hotel is very good, everything is very clean, and with a very good location, you can rest very well after your day's activities and the chaos of the city you arrive tired, so what you will need is a good bath and a good bed and this hotel has the conditions, I recommend it 100% its staff is friendly, Lalit one of the councilors or who is in charge of cleaning is very friendly and helps you in everything in his hands so that you feel comfortable with your room, the food is very good and of quality, it also has a unique restaurant and it is vegetarian, it is a small but cozy hotel.

Enjoyed my stay at the Grand Dolphin. The service was warm and attentive, the hotel clean and the food quite good. As a foreign traveller, I found the area a little tricky to navigate but there were always rickshaws nearby to help me get around.

Good to see ghats and go for Ganges boat ride.

Close to ghats in a busy area. The bathroom had mold, but the shower and bed were OK. Not noisy. Got tired of eating at the buffet, although we liked the food for the most part and the service was good.

a very affordable oasis in varanasi

this hotel must have been renovated not so long ago. it was out-of-india quality of cleanliness with one the friendliest and the most helpful staffs we’ve met during our trip in india. it was the first time in our trip that we enjoyed clean water shower that reverted our hair back to normal conditions after the shower. we had an amazing stay here.
