Vara pensionat - Ett fräscht, bättre vandrarhem

På väg till Alingsås Hundstall för att hämta Sigge Schnauzer till sitt nya hem i Ö-vik. Detta krävde en övernattning, vilket blev i Vara. Vi kom sent på kvällen, men fick en kod till yttrdörren och rum 103. Rum 103 på Vara Pensionat var litet, men fräscht och smakfullt. Vi köpte frukost på Ica Kvantum, då vi skulle lämna tidigt, som förvarades i kylskåpet i det fina köket. En rymlig toa- och duschrum i korridoren invid köket. Glöm inte rumskoden, alt lägg ngt i dörröppningen, vid t ex nattkissningen!

Incheckning gick smidigt trots att det skedde utan att träffas. Hade missat att det inte var egen toalett utan toa och dusch var i korridoren. Rent och snyggt. Jobbig trappa upp till andra våningen. Skön säng. Saknade skohorn. Uppskattade att det fanns en flaska vatten vid ankomst.

Bra alternativ om man inte är noga med frukost.

Vi fick ett trevligt bemötande och rummet var fräscht. Lite tveksamt till mörka omanglade lakan och väldigt besviken på att den utlovade frukostbuffén, som man skulle kunna välja till ( enligt beskrivningen på hemsidan) bestod av en smörgås, ett ägg, yoghurt med müsli, en kaka, kaffe och juice på ett café en bra bit bort och tillgänglig mellan kl. 08.00-09.30 på lördagmorgon. Det hade också varit trevligt med två stolar i rummet. En fick sitta i sängen när man var inne.
