The staff is very friendly but management is occasionally unavailable to assist. When we arrived our reservation couldn't be located by the inexperienced front desk clerks. But we did get resolution with the manager who was accommodating. Our room was missing the AC controller so we had to tolerate a warm room for the first night. Being in Laos though, service is not up to western standards. The property must be accessed on very bumpy roads but taxis are readily available. The location is quite peaceful as it is off the beaten track. Altogether, a pleasant stay considering the hiccups and at a very affordable price!

The location was peaceful yet stunning. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The pool was wonderful and cleaned every day and had amazing views. The breakfast options were good and food plentiful. Hosts were always very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There's nothing that we didn't like, but our advise for anyone getting there from the airport or railway station is to get a tuk tuk, rather than a shared minivan, as our shared minivan dropped us off at the wrong side of the bridge in town and so it would have been a 1 mile walk with suitcases from there to the property!
