「Love it. Was the second time staying , Feels like an apartment. We love to walk and was perfect for us .. 」

「Tolle kleine Anlage, gepflegt, sauberer Pool. Babypool überdacht. Zimmer ausreichend groß, tolle Terrasse. Bad etwas klein, aber heißes Wasser, guter Wasserdruck. Zimmerreinigung super. Frühstück viel Auswahl, zu bestimmter Uhrzeit fast zu wenig Sitzplätze. Parkplatz vor dem Hotel, abseits der Straße. Nachts ruhig. In der Umgebung viele Restaurants. Strandnah, Strand war ok. Wir würden wieder kommen.」

「Everything was perfect. The location is excellent, the room was spotless and spacious and the daily housekeeping was immaculate. We also appreciated the free gifts of fruit and chocolate.」

「The staff were all very friendly and plenty of them speak English. The condition of the room was fanatic! Even though the building is very old, since it’s located in the center of “Old Town Chania”, inside you’d swear you’re in a newly built luxury hotel. Very centrally located for walking everywhere!」

「Bra poolområde, hotellets läge på stranden var magiskt. Bra solstolar både vid pool och även på stranden. Bra lunch och middag på hotellet, jättestora portioner! Perfekt hotell om man har med sina barn. Vi hade balkong på markplan med jättehärlig morgonsol. Hotellet ligger nära Platanias alla restauranger. Frukosten var helt ok, fanns det man förväntade sig. Den nypressad apelsinjuicen var så god! Kaffet kunde varit starkare bara :) Det enda negativa var att det blev lätt väldigt varmt i...

「Godt renhold og hyggelig betjening. Lite kjøkkenutstyr til å lage egen mat. Det burde være minimum en vannkoker og vaskemulighet for klær. Vaskeriet var ca 1,5km fra hotellet.」

「The owner was very friendly! He was always available and willing to help!! And very flexible when we wanten to change the date of reservation! It was no problem and he solved it in a minute!! Hé was so friendly that I feel ashamed that I forgot to pay the tourist tax!! Sorry sorry sorry」

「Very clean hotel, daily room cleaning. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Magnificent flower garden very well maintained. Very nice pool area. The last day we had to leave very early in the morning for our return to the airport, and the manager prepared the breakfast buffet for us at 6:30 am instead of normally 8:00 am. I highly recommend, and I will be happy to come back if possible.」

「Hotellille oli mukava tulla, kun vastassa oli ystävällistä henkilökuntaa. Mukavan henkilökunnan lisäksi päivittäinen siivouspalvelu hoiti hommansa moitteita ja saatiin joka päivälle uudet puhtaat pyyhkeet. Aamupala oli laaja ja meidän lemppariksi koitui tuorepuristettu appelsiinimehu! Ryhmämme lempi aktiviteetti hotellilla oli altaalla makoilu isoilla aurinkosängyillä. Jos altaalle jäi pidemmäksi aikaa, sai altaan baarista tilattua helposti juomia ja ruokaa omalle paikalle. Parasta hotellin...

「The flat was brilliant and not too distant from the old town - 10 minute walk. However when I arrived at the property there was no receptionist and a sign pointing to the e-reception. I rang the bell on the keypad and got no response. I finally found a phone number and got through to someone who gave me a code to access my key - it was a real pain to search for a number I could contact them on - they had contacted me by email the day before to ask for my arrival time, and could easily have given...

「We stayed at Portou House for 5 nights and had an excellent time. Very good location in Chania Old Town. Communication was great from start to finish with Julia being very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine for my Partner’s birthday which was a nice touch. The only feedback we would have is that there was no full length mirror - think it would be good to consider including in the rooms. Many thanks Julia and team at Portou House. 」

「Le séjour avait mal commencé avec la salle de bain de la chambre pas très propre, pas de gel douche. Sinon le reste du séjour c'est bien passé. Les restaurants et bars sont très bien. C'est bon et variés. Beaucoup d'activités surtout pour les enfants. Beaucoup de transats. La proximité de Chania accessibles en bus est un plus.」
