Struggled to find anywhere in the vicinity. I have used a Brit Hotel before which appeared to be an old Confort Hotel. This is directly opposite the Notre Dame church. Easy walking to the city centre. It’s 2* so it’s not a Mercury or Novotel but it was clean and convenient. Price was good.

Du bon et du mauvais.

Du bon et du mauvais : Hôtel bien situé en centre ville, proche de toutes commodités. Le personnel est fort sympathique et fait ce qu'il peut pour vous satisfaire. Le petit déjeuner est correct pour le prix. Par contre la vétusté des lieux se fait bien sentir : la salle de bain de la chambre 18 est limite limite : les élèvements de baignoires sont encrassés comme jamais et les joints si vieux qu'ils ne servent plus à grand chose (10 € de plus pour une chambre avec baignoire quand meme ) L'insonorisation que ce soit avec les voisins du dessus ou ceux d'à coté est très limite : on entend tout ce qui est pas ou chasse d'eau. Vous devriez envisager de joindre vos sommiers : je conçois l'idée de deux sommiers juxtaposés mais c'est fort désagréable de dormir dans un trou quand ils ne sont pas collé l'un à l'autre (chose que j'ai compris que le lendemain matin).

Très bien pour ce que nous avions besoin. Un bon couchage, une grande chambre et grande salle de bain. Très propre. Et un petit déjeuner tout a fait convenable. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable.

Parfait pour un week end

C’est la 2 eme fois que nous prenons une chambre dans cet hôtel. Très bien situé, largement suffisant lorsque nous remontons dans le Nord, avec notre petite chienne . Nous sommes de Valenciennes et vivons en Normandie. Parfait endroit pour passer le week end .

Du bon et du mauvais. Situé dans quartier rénové, avec commerces à proximité, à deux pas de la Basilique Notre Dame. Personnel au top. Pas évident de stationner, mais on trouve. Petit déjeuner correct. Par contre mauvaise insonorisation des chambres entre elles, et porte d'entrée très légère. Salle de bains propreté à revoir (joints de carrelage : Javel à utiliser), lunette des WC cassée. PS : c'était la chambre 14.

Lovely stay. Friendly staff. Great location

We had a lovely stay here. When we arrived we were told we could keep our 2 motorcycles in the hotel garage. The people on reception couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and always had a smile. There is a lovely walled garden at the rear where we ate breakfast. The location of the hotel is great too. There is a Greek restaurant 2 minutes away and many other restaurants within a very short walk. Id definitely recommend this hotel which is full of character

En déplacement professionnel, j'ai chois cet hôtel qui est placé en pleins centre de Valenciennes pour sa proximité des commerces (restaurants, bar, etc.) pas déçu : endroit calme, personnel très aimable et à l'écoute et qui vous conseil des visites locales.
