「We had a memorable stay of two nights at the Quinta de S. Bernardo in Douro Valley. This inn is located in a fully functional farmhouse and vineyard, perched high on the slopes of Douro Valley mountains offering picture perfect views. 「Its a great experience living in the barrel. Every customer staying there include one wine tasting tour, understand more about Port wine. However, moving there or other spots might possibly need to drive. No public transport reaching the area.」

「An incredible location but you definitely need a car to get there. It’s high up in the hills. Narrow roads but easy to find with Google maps. Host does not speak English but daughters do. Beautiful continental breakfast with sliced meats & cheese, yogurt, cereals and muesli, coffee, tea, jams & cake. 」

「Charmerende. Dejligt værelse med udsigt til poolen. Vær opmærksom på at nogen værelser har vinduer højt, så man ikke kan se ud (kælderen). Flere grupper af stole/borde udenfor, så man kunne sidde og hygge. Flinke værter. Morgenmad ok, men der manglede hele tiden noget (var der i 3 dage). I området var der gode afmærkede vandrerstier. Et stort supermarked. 」
