My stay in Astor was so good that next time I visit in Vasa I will definitely go back. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was friendly and sauna in the room was great.

Beautiful building and good location. Customer service was not so good on the first day. I had two heavy bags and the person at the reception did not help or offer to carry one of them as she walked me to my room through many stairs. Room was not cleaned well. There was food from previous guest in the fridge, they did not wash the two glasses I used on the first day, and floor was dusty. There was no bathrobe in the room even though it was listed in the website with the room details. I did get one hour later check out without having to pay for it so that was nice. Breakfast was ok, but would have been nice to have waffels or fresh baked cake gluten free. Its easy to make the dough gluten free and then it would suit everyone.

Although our rooms were not ready by check-in time at 3 pm, the staff made up for it by providing us with free refreshments while we waited. Staff were friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was delicious. In spite of road construction around the hotel, we had a lovely experience walking to the surrounding shops and attractions. We appreciated the proximity (2 minute) to the train station.

Cosy and stylish hotel

When entering Astor you feel the winds of history in the always so civilized city of Vaasa. The interior has old charm but is recently refurbished and is very fresh. The bathrooms are on the brink of being luxurious in this hotel category. Parking EUR 5,00/24h some 150m away in a garage. Very friendly staff, breakfast good and everything very fresh. Can warmly recommend this hotel. Local restaurant recommendation: Restaurant HEIM down by the waterfront.

Clean and verry comfotable hotel. 10/10 for the breakfast. It was amazing. Kettle, tea, coffe availible in a room. Hotel does not have their own parking. 100 meters far hotel is parking house. Ask for ticket on reception and pay before you leave. 5€/day.

Hotellet ligger centralt, är mysigt i gammaldags stil men samtidigt modernt och fräscht. Frukosten var något av det bästa vi haft, stort, varierat utbud, lugn och skön miljö. Man kan välja att sitta i ett ljusare rum eller ett med mer dämpad belysning.

Hotelli huokuu historiaa. Ystävällinen palvelu ja siisti. Hotellihuoneessa häiritsi pienen hetken vanhan rakennuksen haju, mutta unohtui pian. Huoneet aika tummasävyisiä. Viimeisestä remontista/ päivityksestä aikaa. Talonrakennuttajasta kauppias Laurellista saisi olla tietoa ja valokuvia esillä. Aamupala oikein hyvä ja runsas. Aamiaishuone on suloinen. Kaiken kaikkiaan viehättävä kokemus. Ei ketjuhotellien modernia tylsyyttä, vaan menneen tunnelmaa. Pientä raikastamista kaipaa, mutta suosittelen.

Toimiva liikematkailijan hotelli.

Huoneessa oli kylmä, lämmitys ei ollut kytkettynä, muuten huone oli hienossa kunnossa. Ihmetttelin suhkutilan ahtautta, tilaa olisi ollut suunnittelijalle toteuttaa isompi suihkutila, leveysn 75c eikä syvyyttäkään ollut sen enempää.Aamiainen oli runsas ja hyvä, henkilökunta ystävällistä ja palvelualtista.

Hotelli sijaitsee erittäin hyvällä paikalla rautatieaseman vieressä ja muutama sata metriä torista. Sisätilat ovat hieman nuhruiset ja aamiaishuone on aika ahdas. Aamiainen itsessään oli erittäin hyvä ja kattava. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja palvelu ripeää.
