BUNK Hotel Amsterdam

"It was my first time trying a hotel/hostel like this. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were all friendly, the pods were clean and comfortable. As a solo traveller I felt safe. I would definitely recommend this place."

"What a unique hotel. We loved our stay at the Hoxton Lloyd. A little outside of the main areas of central Amsterdam, but close to a train that takes you there in 15-20 mins. We loved the history of it, and all the funky details and decor inside. We had a beautiful view of a canal, and enjoyed the bar/restaurant downstairs. The bunkbeds were perfect for the kids, and we used the supermarket and coffee shop across the street a couple of times. They also have complimentary bikes available, and decent restaurant options within walking distance. Also the photo booth in the lobby was a hit. Highly recommend if you don't mind staying outside of the Amsterdam core."

"The location was ideal and in walking distance from everything. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a hotel, lots of variety and choice. We also appreciated that the hotel provided free water and soft drinks. Only negative was that the rooms are not air conditioned. The hotel provided portable fans but not the same as having AC. We would definitely stay here again but not during the hot months."

"Our room had a modern but sterile feel with simple Ikea-like furnishings. Lights, TV, shades are controlled with an ipad. But common areas featured nice seating areas with tables & chairs. Breakfast was a combination of hot & cold selections alone with coffee & juices. Nice location within walking distance from the airport."

"Nothing major really! But on our second day we left the room at 9am, and when we came back from our day errance around 5.30pm to chill for a bit , the room has not been cleaned , the housekeeper then showed up at 6.30pm when we were relaxing before going back out for diner ... we refused service and had to ask for clean and dry towel...( that were provided instantly) Other than that weird housekeeping schedule .. and the fact the young staff at the desk was unable to give any information regarding , restaurants, Tram information or other classic tourist questions, the bed were super confortable , the location is perfect and we had a great time overall ..."
