We stayed for a single night in oneof the hits away from the main hotel. We had a very warm welcome, and we were able to store our bags away before check in.
As it was off season the hotel and the island we exceptionally quiet. It was bliss.
The room was clean, spacious and quiet.
Our evening meal was good (although limited vegetarian/vagan options), and breakfast was exceptional.
We would visit again. Thank you!

Trevligt men dyrt
Överlag mysig vistelse med god mat och trevlig personal. Dock framgick inte vid bokningen att boendet låg i ett hus 300 m från värdshuset. Rummet var helt OK men absolut inte värt 3200 kr.

Mysigt men dyrt i förhållande till kvalitet
Tillbringade en natt på värdshuset i dubbelrum. Bodde i kvarnvillan som ligger 300 meter från huvudbyggnaden. Rummet var ok men i förhållande till priset kändes det väl dyrt. Vi åt middag på värdshuset med blandade recensioner. Lammet var bra men oxfilén seg och tråkig. Tonfisken var inte heller speciellt rolig. Servicen var bra och oxfilén byttes ut utan knussel. Tyvärr var den nya portionen inte nämnvärt bättre. Vi gjorde 15 kilometers vandring på ön vilket starkt kan rekommenderas.

Jag fick varje dag be om städning på rummet. Det brukar ju bli gjort automatiskt.
Jag fick två städningar, då jag sa till, på fem dagar. De skyllde på pandemin, men då ska ju priset vara rabatterat. De slipper ju städkostnaden.

Trevligt och vackert, men inte alls prisvärt
Utö Värdshus är ett trevligt hotell i vacker miljö. Vi bodde i Kvarnvillan 300 m från huvudbyggnaden. Vi hade en fantastisk utsikt över Gruvbyn och hamnen.
Själva rummet var väl helt okej, stort badrum och fräscht. Men både rummet och miljön i Kvarnvillan var ganska enkel och levde inte alls upp till prisnivån. Nu hade vi tur med fint väder och kunde njuta av utsikten och promenaderna till huvudbyggnaden, men en annan årstid och med annat väder hade det inte varit kul.
Rummet var definitivt inte värt 2700 kr, för det priset brukar det vara en helt annan standard.
Frukosten var bra och restaurangen på hotellet var toppen!

Trevlig vistelse i stuga
Bokade hotellet och fick en egen stuga, som var i väldigt fint och renoverat skick. Stor skillnad på vandrarhemmet som vi bodde på natten innan. Stugan var välstädad och det fanns ett litet pentry, så man kan laga enklare mat om så önskas. Eftersom vi bara stannade en natt, åt vi på Värdshuset, men där var dessvärre maten under all kritik. Lunch eller middag på Värdshuset rekommenderas därför tyvärr inte. Köket måste höja sin nivå avsevärt!! Dock var frukosten bra (det fantastiskt bröd), men det är ingen större matlagning på just en frukost.
