The room was very clean and big! The breakfast was very good and fresh! Great coffee! The staff was amazingly friendly and very polite! They did everything they could to make your stay awesome! And Barney the cat was also awesome! The owner was so sweet and asked me if I needed anything, her hotel is really cute and you really feel like you took a step back in time, but she made the rooms very homey and very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We loved our stay here! It was such a good decision to stay away from the chaos of Goreme. It felt like a safe heaven with still beautiful views but with the calm of the garden of the property. The room are so tasteful and have gone beyond the traditional design you find all over Cappadocia with modern and artistic touches. Staff and owner are always ready to help with a smile on their faces. We will definitely be back!

Superb reception staff, clean, air conditioned and very large rooms, comfortable and very quiet. Only downside was the sink and shower faucets did not function properly. While room service meals are offered, they weren't available during my stay. It's only about a 5 minute walk to the town plaza with a limited variety of dining places. But it is distant from the hub of activity and dining in Goreme.

I had a wonderful stay at Doda Artisanal Cave Hotel! The customer service was excellent — the team was kind, attentive, and very helpful throughout my visit. The traditional Turkish breakfast was such a treat and a refreshing change from the usual buffet style. My room was spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated, perfectly blending comfort with the charm of a cave hotel. I absolutely loved the artistic decor throughout the property — every corner felt thoughtfully designed. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting a frequent visitor, the hotel’s adorable cat, who added such a lovely touch of warmth and homeliness. The staff went above and beyond to help organize excursions like the hot air balloon ride, as well as the Red and Green tours, making it easy to experience the best of Cappadocia. The location was also ideal, with several great restaurants within walking distance. The peaceful and serene atmosphere made my stay truly memorable. Staying in a cave hotel was such a unique experience — I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend Doda Artisanal Cave Hotel to anyone visiting the area!

All of the staff members were excellent. They took very good care of me. Breakfast was superb every morning. They cleaned my room thoroughly. Seda, the hotel owner was very helpful. Very available. I appreciate all of her help, I will be returning again. My stay in Cappadocia was one of the best vacations I’ve had in a long time. Goreme was absolutely amazing .

The hotel is placed in a quite and serene town, Urgup. The Host and his team were extremely welcoming and helped us with bookings for tours across all the days we stayed there. The rooms are the exact Cave experience anyone would desire in Cappadocia! The breakfast spread in the morning felt very special and homely at the same time. Thank you soo much :)

Lovely cave hotel

This cave hotel was wonderful. I loved everything about it. The quiet location, the great decor & hotel atmosphere. The rooms & bathrooms are spacious & cozy. Would definitely stay here again & recommend it to anyone looking to stay at a cave hotel.

Fantastic Hotel in Cappadocia!

A fantastic hotel with a staff that pride’s itself to ensure its gusts are happy and well taken care of. The Doda Cave hotel is one of the best operated hotels I have stayed at. The room was very clean and the location of the hotel offers a fantastic view of the castle. Further, the morning breakfast was fresh, well prepared, and very delicious. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my return visit to Cappadocia!

Doda hits ALL the marks✨ Friendly 24/7 concierge service and an incredible breakfast. We loved room 208! A unique space offering a bi-level room (upstairs bedroom and bathroom, downstairs sitting area with a mini fridge and tea kettle). You’ll have your own private patio overlooking the courtyard and the city of Ortahisar. After visiting Goreme and Uchisar we were very happy we chose Orthisar. It is quaint and peaceful in comparison to the busy, touristy vibe of the other two main stays AND you also avoid all of the steep hills here. Taxis are always available and cost ~400 Lira (~5 USD) for a day or night visit into Goreme or Uchisar. HIGHLY recommend!
