"I stayed here for one night after walking 15 miles from Pontevedra on the Camino de Santiago Pros: -The women at the front desk was very kind and let me check in 3 hours early -The price is hard to beat as it was 35 euros for 1 night for a single standard room with king bed (the rooms are also very spacious) Cons: -You feel like you are entering and exiting a maximum security prison as you can only enter and exit the premise through a gate that has to be opened by talking to person at reception...

Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "An absolute gem of a property a tiny bit off the Camino and worth every step! Out hosts were unbelievably gracious and helpful. The rooms were spotless and cozy and comfortable. We met a couple of other pilgrims and became fast friends over afternoon glasses of beer and wine from the “honor kitchen” while sitting outside on the courtyard patio in a tiny, quiet hamlet.
