「Great location for me, within walking distance of all the major sites, plenty of dining options nearby, the building itself was a treat! Staff was helpful. I was having a minor laundry emergency (a previous booking didn't have laundry services as advertised) and they were kind enough to accommodate me quickly and efficiently. The only down sides were seasonal. Our stay coincided with high temperatures and our room was stuffy, which is completely understandable, but the windows were not screened....

「The hotel has recently been refurbished but still has the ‘old’ side which you can select the room for stay if you are interested in this historic experience. Those rooms will be available for cheaper prices as well. I chose to stay at the ‘newer’ side for my accommodation this time as they are usually more comfortable for a good night sleep. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. 「What a beautiful place to stay. An amazing amount of thought has gone into all elements of the Manor House and surrounding accommodation. We stayed in a hop pickers hut (number 4 was great as end of the row and cleaning cupboard next to us so no noise from neighbours) which had a large and comfortable bed and was thoughtfully appointed. We enjoyed exploring the kitchen garden and our evening meal was delicious (waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and wine list) Breakfast also superb...
