「Loved this place. So relaxing and surrounded by beautiful nature. Loved taking a look at some of the historical books. Highly recommend talking with the staff about the history of this fascinating, historic hotel. The staff were also flexible, kind and made you feel comfortable. Clean, comfortable rooms. 「The landscape after the window is opened is beautiful like a painting, you can see the train, bridge, snow, mountains, and boats. The pool is great and the hot pool is nice. The downside is that you can hear footsteps from upstairs on the lower floors.」

「They’ve obviously been doing a lot of updating. Very clean, slight smell of new furniture or chemical, probably from the renovations. Friendly staff, pretty grounds. The hot tub was being replaced, sad that I couldn’t use it but will be nice for future guests. 」

「This property was cute and has a lot of potential, but need some TLC and needs to be cleaned. There was a used soap bar in the shower and the floors were dirty with hair and other stuff. Our room didn’t have toilet paper or non-used soap, but luckily when we told the staff, they responded quickly. The area is very walkable, but I recommend arriving before 6pm or you will be left with food options of either a very small grocery or paying $16 for a burger. Overall, I would come back to this place...
