「If you are drawn to this hotel by seeing it on People of the North, then prepare to be disappointed. The location is lovely and the rooms are large, and of course the view of the fjord is stellar, but there are several areas for disappointment. The dinner menu, for example, remains the same night after night. There is a "white fish of the week," rather than a selection of fish for main courses. There is lamb; it is fine. 「We waited at the front desk for 5 minutes while we checked in. But the breakfast was very good.」

「This is a beautiful remote mountain lodge with a lot of character and cozy ambience. We chose to walk in from Myrdal which was a bit of a challenge with luggage but added to the experience. 「Excellent value! Great Views, wonderful restaurant! Convenient walk to the coffee/bakery /food trucks/water. I was in off season so it was super quiet and peaceful. It was a very easy stay I would recommend.」

「The hotel was great , Location was laterally next to train station and bus station. Staff were friendly. 」
