A very mixed staff, from friendly and Efficient to staff who should spend more time in training. Good food in the restaurant and good selection at breakfast. Enjoyed the spa very much, very professional and nice beauticians. The pool are area needs renovations. Perfect location to take your dog for a walk.

Disappointing service

Excellent view of the mountains. Otherwise this hotel is OK but not great. Christmas dinner service was substandard. Drinks very late, salad wilted. Rooms overheated. Worst: They charged us twice for the Christmas dinner and overcharged the already generous tip too. I luckily noticed all this during checkout. The entire service experience felt amateurish and dilettante.

A family of four, we stayed in one of the junior suites, with a queen bed and a converted sofa bed. The room was very spacious, had large closet space, and the bath came with double sinks. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows with an absolutely breathtaking view over the Bodensee. Staff was all very friendly, though despite us speaking German and English, at times there were some language-based communication challenges with restaurant staff that could be improved. Our family also very much liked the breakfast buffet. It was super easy to grab a bus at a nearby bus stop to head down into town and enjoy the promenade. If there would be two things I'd love to see improve, it would be dedicated smoking / non-smoking sections for the restaurant's terrace. Like us, I noticed several other guests being disturbed by other guests smoking and taking away from what is otherwise a great outside breakfast and dining experience. The second thing, which I recognize will not be easy and certainly isn't a fault of the hotel / staff, would be to find a way to keep wasps at bay. There were plenty of wasps disturbing guests--including our kids--and it also took away from the experience while eating on the terrace. This was our first stay here and surely not our last--we look forward to coming back to this property!

Exceptionally disappointing! Too many wasps meant it was impossible to enjoy the terrace. The number of wasps buzzing round at breakfast was only exceeded by the number of hotel guests buzzing round the coffee machine (seriously the queues at breakfast were awful). Really disappointed given the amount I paid for the rooms.

Ruhiges Zimmer mit Gartenblick, und seitlichem Seeblick. Betten waren gut. Das Bad ist leider Renovierungsbedürftig. Das Essen im Restaurant war Hervorragend und empfehlenswert. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr gut. Personal sehr freundlich. Den Innenpool würde eine Modernisierung aufwerten. Waren sehr zufrieden. Danke.

Cher pour ce que c’est

Obligé de prendre un surclassement de chambre car je voyage avec mon chien et qu’ils n’avaient plus d’autre chambre possible avec mon chien. 200€ en plus à rajouter pour deux nuits cela fait beaucoup… si vous surclassez les gens car vous n’avez plus de chambre classique avec chien, ne les faites pas payer !! Et surtout pas aussi cher !! De plus, pour une suite à 500€ la nuit, je n’ai jamais eu des lits aussi durs ! La piscine est froide et pleine comme la piscine municipale Le seul point positif est la vue sur le lac
