The best Villas for a romantic vacation

We got a very warm welcome from the staff when we checked in. I'm very appreciated for the upgrade. The room was very clean and beautiful. The private pool facing a river jungle valley let us can have relaxed time without any concern. BTW, Sankara's restaurant provide very great local food in reasonable price. All the staying experience would be perfect if the in villa Wi-Fi become more fast and reliable. The photo shooting service help us keep the amazing memory in Bali. I believe my wife and I will visit Sankara again very soon in the future.

Slightly mixed feelings on this one! This stay was really beautiful, the staff were amazing, the mocktails and smoothies were excellent, the room was comfortable and huge and the pool was gorgeous. It's really stunning. The food was pretty good. Overall it was really lovely and the area was quiet and peaceful, but still close to town. Loved that they offered yoga in the mornings too. However, we woke up to a rat in our room eating the complimentary fruit basket they gave us and some of our personal food. We showed the staff the rat chomped food (visible bite marks), and I don't know if this is a cultural difference but I felt like they either didn't believe us or just didn't care, which was jarring. They gave us a discount on our food, so about 10 ish USD. It's a very beautiful property and the staff is generally super friendly and kind, but I'm not sure if I'd return.

The People are very friendly, the rooms are cleaned twice a day. The restaurant food was really good i loved the egg benedict breakfast so include that with your room purchase its worth it.

LOVED staying at this hotel! Staff were welcoming, professional, attentive and genuinely want to make your stay the best it can be. Breakfast is amazing, great menu selection, high quality food and the perfect way to start your days! Afternoon tea was a nice touch although we didn't take it every day. We stayed a week and everything was wonderful. Sad to leave but will absolutely return!

Staff were lovely, the pool area the beds had mould on them and the rooms were a bit smelly as well. I was upset I didn’t get a room upgrade. I thought the surrounding property was clean the gardeners did a good job. I didn’t like the breakfast I think a buffet would be better and the pool bar didn’t do many options of drinks. The staff were really nice but I wouldn’t return.

Nous avons eu un problème de matelas trop mou , on se retrouvait au milieu du lit, c est n est pas normal pour un hotel de ce standing mais ca été résolu le lendemain avec beaucouo de gentillesse et d'attention.

The Sankara was amazing! I came for my 25th birthday trip & it was everything I expected & more. The staff was so friendly & sweet. They made us feel welcomed everyday. It was so peaceful & literally felt like we were in the jungle. The landscaping was beautiful! Amazing for pictures. Our River Pool Room was gorgeous. It looked even better in person than it did in the pictures! The resort is also in a convenient location, being 10 mins from the Ubud Market. Our massage was AMAZING at the spa! The food was great for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. I can’t wait to recommend others & hopefully come back one day! 😍

Lovely tropical plants. Need dehumidifiers and ceiling fans in rooms. Air conditioning unit sounded like a an airplane taking off (room 715, valley room. Safety bar needed in shower. Water does not drain well in shower floor. First registration woman needs to be less pushy on the hotel tours. Need more desserts at diner buffet, and a non-alcoholic drink should be included with the package with shows.

Ubud come true

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The vibe is so mellow. The hotel staff and the people in this area are extremely kind. We had the room with the private pool, and were able to enjoy the floating breakfast -this is a must have. Down the street for a 5 minute walk is a bike rental. I recommend staying here. You may encounter a few bugs because of the environment, but it’s well worth the stay for the beauty. We also had the steak dinner and it was amazing.
