If you like an retro expereince, this motel fits the bill! If you would prefer everything looking new, this place is not for you. I love the retro feel and comfort of the drive right to the door, old time motel. Also, whenever I stop, the staff is so very friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy and I get a great night sleep every night. If my trip takes me by Heyburn and the time is right, I choose Tops Motel each time.

Great Mid-Way Stop!

Thank you to Tops for having an affordable destination midway between Colorado and Seattle. No complaints from me. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the price was right. I am a heavy sleeper, but if you are a light sleeper, the ambient noise from the nearby road & train track might be a factor.

The manager was very nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, there was a musty dampness to the room that if you didn't notice that it was clean, one might think the place was filthy. The water smelled bad, as well.

Rest for the night

This is a no frill motel. The price was low, so that was good. It gave you the Bare minimum. It did have a big area to walk our dogs which was nice after a long drive. Microwave was cracked on exterior & freeze was hanging down in fridge. It was clean and no bad smells. It was fine for just getting rest after a long drive. Didn’t use shower so can’t rate that.?
