This pretty holiday home offers a very tranquil living environment. Situated on a hill next to the lake of Åsunden, it offers a stunning view of the lake and the woodlands, and a pastoral atmosphere with sheep grazing on the hillside. There are plenty of grassy areas for relaxation and games. The distance to the lake is about 700 metres, as the crow flies. A rowing boat is included, and there are fishing possibilities. A fishing permit is required. There is a child-friendly bathing spot just a one minute drive or fifteen minute walk from the house. The holiday home features an open plan kitchen and living room with a cosy little TV-area in a corner. You find internet in the house in the summer. A fireplace adds to the cosiness. You can buy firewood from the owner of the house, who lives about 500 metres away. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped. The house features two bedrooms, placed wall-to-wall. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed and the second bedroom contains two single beds and a bunk bed. The large bathroom was renovated in 2013. The pretty and spacious terrace offers a lovely view of the water and the woods. The nearest grocery store is five kilometres away. The town of Ulricehamn is only fifteen kilometres away, offering services and shopping, as does Borås, which is only a 30 minute drive from the house. Whilst you are in Borås, don’t forget to visit their memorable zoo! The area around Ulricehamn and Åsunden is well-known for it’s beauty, and many Swedish films have been recorded in the area. Gekås in Ullared is a shopping complex that is well known in all of Sweden for it’s bargains, it is only an 80 minute drive from the house. In the winter Ullared offers skiing slopes with lifts.
