The price I paid for the hotel was fair. The breakfast buffet was fairly decent. There is also a VIPs cafeteria right next to the hotel lobby. One is able to book and pay for taxi cab to get pretty much all over the place.

This place is a GEM! I am usually very picky about hotels. But we have stayed here twice and loved it each time! Our favourite hotel in Chiapas! Even compared to more expensive places (e.g., we stayed at the Marriott in Tuxtla and it was not as clean or convenient but double the price). If you care about cleanliness, a walkable but safe location, lovely staff, and great breakfast - stay here! It is really close to Marimba park where there are several festivals and vendors. Also very close to cute shops and markets. I highly recommend this area if you want to explore the real Tuxtla (safely). Can't wait to come back some day.

A few blocks from Marinba park, nice little hotel but in need of some upgrades. Full breakfast with hot meals, fruit, juice, yogurt, bread, coffee and tea. Taxis always available outside. Friendly staff.

Excellent location! 3 m walk from the beautiful, central Marimba Square with access to public transport and taxis that take you all over town for reasonable fees. Very attentive service by the excellent staff. Very clean. Comfortable mattress and bedding. Noisy central a/c. Unhealthy, greasy breakfast with processed meats and deep fried foods soaked in cream. One needs to pay additional $ for a health-conscious breakfast. Insufficient a/c in the dining room. Water saving device on shower head presents an appearance of a strong stream, yet little quantities of water.
