Good location and tricky neighbor

The hotel & hostel are located very good on the way to the beach and zona hotelara. Unfortunately hotel part is next to the neighborhood that is loud for most of the day and night. Lack of the window, mirror under the shower (in place of the window) and tiny hole in the wall in the bedroom, makes you fell like there's a party at your place for most of the day and night.

El establecimiento NO ACEPTA TARJETA DE CRÉDITO. (Evaden impuestos. El baño tuvo fuga en WC, además la regadera suelta un mini chorro de agua q obliga a pegarse a la pared para bañarse. Jamás tuvimos la atención del servicio de mantenimiento. Jamás regresaría.

Ubicacion inmejorable!

Hermoso lugar para dormir en Tulum. Si te gusta el estilo mochilero y no tienes problemas para compartir espacios este es el lugar perfecto. Conocerás mucha gente interesante. La ubicación es inmejorable y las personas que lo atienden son amables. Ambiente íntimo. Puedes usar la piscina para refrescarte después de un caluroso día y también las mañanas tomar un café en la galería techada con vista al jardín. Limpio y con todo lo necesario.

Hot in Tulum

It was so hot and the fans didn't help. Apparently only the hotel part has air conditioning, not the hostel. Plus, there were mosquito nets around the beds which were needed because of all the mosquitos, but it made it even hotter. Very uncomfortable stay.

Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Très joli petit hôtel, la personne a l’accueil est très sympa. La chambre en béton fait à la fois moderne et jolie. Il n’y a pas de parking mais on peut se garer devant l’hotel facilement Seuls petit bémol : les alentours pas vraiment charmants, il faut se déplacer pour faire des achats et un peu de musique tard le soir.

Très mal situé, bruyant et vetuste

Très mauvais hôtel, situé à un carrefour très très passant et bruyant. Les chambre sont juste des petites cases, carrelage cassé ou dalle, pas propre et vetuste. Bref, grosse arnaque au regard du prix. Nous ne sommes même pas restés.

Fine fortune or two nights

Stay was fine but they played loud dance music of dubious quality until 11.00pm. When we wanted to sit at the front to drink a beer we had bought from the local supermarket we were told we had to move to the back of the hotel area behind a fence with no view of the road. Their bar at this time was completely empty so we were not doing any harm.

Ab 4Uhr morgens war Baustellenlärm und das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Es gibt schönere Hotels in Tulum. Vorsicht: wenn man vor dem Hotel steht gibt es 2-3 Läden weiter rechts einen Tauchshop der auch Fahrräder verkauft. Unbedingt meiden. Der Typ ist ein Verbrechen und versucht zu betrügen

Nice place. Quiet.

It's a nice place.. Great access to the beaches and a few shops near bye. Staff are friendly. Place was very quiet when I was there so that might be good. Hotel overall is aesthetically pleasing. Only thing I did not like was the traffic going by at night. The road to the beach is pretty busy at all hours.

Hotel muy bien ubicado, agradable, personal bastante amable, ambiente muy relajado, alberca pequeña pero suficiente. Sólo dos detalles no tan menores, como estuvo lloviendo tardamos en salir de la habitación y el ama de llaves llegó a hacer el aseo y le pedimos que regresara más tarde, salimos a la playa y cuando volvimos no estaba arreglada. El olor del agua de la regadera y lavabo, fétido, como agua de manglar no tratada, muy desagradable.

El Punto two days review

El Punto is a nice and privat Hostal/Hotel. I stayed in the shared dorms where I had a nice ventilator next to my bed so I could sleep in the carribean heat. The water tho ( be it from the Tab or from the Shower upstairs) smelled and tasted terrible. Either way it was the water itself or the combination of it with the smell that was coming from the outflow pipe... idk but it was not so nice. The breakfasts are quite basic for the price you pay. But therefore I used the shared kitchen space the Hostel offered for the rest of my stay which saved me and my wallet ;)
