we have been to tulum many times. This is a small place, not on the ocean front, but you walk across the street and the beach is right there. You can't beat the price, and it is really quite charming. The staff are wonderful. Would definitely go back.

Overall the hotel is nice, clean & relaxing. They don’t have a receptionist/front desk so you need to communicate through whatsapp. It’s right next to matcha mama which is great! Also they don’t have A/C only 3 fans in the ceiling but still very hot. I didn’t see any crazy insects until I arrived home and opened my back pack and noticed a black scorpion that almost gave a heart attack and killed me! Lol (overall nice place & great location but no ac & be careful for the scorpions)

Very very hard to find! No hotel signs in front and locals did not know of this place. Located behind a black door in an alley off the main Tulum street. Parking was located right in front of hotel but my car was the only car there at night, so quite scared of a break in. Room was very nice however.

I had higher expectations for this stay based upon the photos and previous reviews. I felt like it was a mediocre experience for the price and while I appreciate the eco-friendliness it wasn’t the most comfortable room.

Good location and room. No water or power for about 1.5 hours the morning of checkout made it difficult to get ready and keep our schedule.

we’ve stayed at Amor Rooms for 6 nights. Such a long stay, but I’ve enjoyed it. I’ve a had time to find the place because it’s invisible, next to the Matcha Mama, at the end of the intersection. on the side of the jungle, so if you want to sit outside for a little bit bring the mosquitoes spray. The place is good for a couple of days only. I’m satisfied with my trip.

Great hotel, horrible signage

The hotel was wonderful, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was finding the hotel, the address in google maps takes you to a different building about 3 minutes up the road. The hotel is actually located right behind Matcha Mama but there is no sign outside on the street and also it seems like none of the nearby hotels and restaurants have ever heard of it as we walked around in circles for about 30 minutes asking people where to go. Once we finally found it, Vicente was there to help us to our room and he was wonderful. Overall we had a great stay the only problem is that the hotel is so hard to find that even the airport transportation we booked drove up and down the strip for almost 45 minutes trying to find it and we were almost late for our flight..

Delight and Peace

A delightful room. Very natural in design and peaceful. Just know what having no AC means in this region. The fans are perfectly placed and the room is spacious. Very private behind and overall happy. The bed comfort is a 6-7 not great but not bad.

Everything was amazing and very accommodating. It’s hidden, so park at la onda, it’s right behind it and next to an AMAZING smoothie and bowl place matcha mama. Very jungle like, perfect location, Lourdes was sweet and very helpful, stay in contact before arriving as there’s no regular reception. If it’s your first time or 20th in tulum, this place is worth the penny and great for the price

Great Eco room

Room was very eco and clean. Service was very pleasant. Yes there is no ac but the fans work very well. Very comfortable stay. Really liked how it was on a busy road but off to the distance, felt very private.

quirky experience

Amor rooms is a quirky experience with a simple design rooms, sound making pipes, warm and cozy atmosphere. There is NO receptionist at this location so you'll need to make arrangements to check in. We missed that information when booking... luckily, we were able to connect with the owner, Lourdes, who was very accommodating, friendly and helpful!

Everything was above our expectations. The owner Ara was very helpful and gave us amazing recommendations around tulum beach. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the street of tulum and we appreciated that the hotel was eco friendly.
