「Although this place is very basic, with essebtially no electricity or service and we werent able to complete the second half pf our rafting due to heavy rains, wr loved this place. It was exactly what we expected. We stayed two nights, and brought snacks and just took in nature. The two waterfalls we were taken to were awesome,. Especially day 2. So many beautiful bird's. Bring a Headlamp, bug spray and a deck of cards or a book!」

「Staying here for 2 days was the best part of our trip to Costa Rica! We were treated like family! Albert Alonso the owner is a wonderful chef and he makes everything himself. From bread to pizza, pies and everything in between. He also went over and beyond and called around to find a personal guide to show us around the area that was honest and trustworthy. 「This property consists of 3 relatively new cabins located inside a secure gate beside to the main road that circles the beautiful Orosí valley. The cabins are surrounded by greenery including a giant stand of bamboo and orange trees from the family’s orchard, which smell delightful! The road is quite busy during the day but very quiet at night and we had no difficulty sleeping. The cabins themselves block most of the outside sound. There was plentiful hot water for the shower from the rooftop...

「What a terrific setting nestled in the mountains outside of Cartaga. The Tico style cabin had two bedrooms and a single bath with a great room containing the kitchen, dinning room and living room. I spent most of my time on the deck. Was clean and well maintained. 」
