I would highly recommend the roadrunner hotel, staff both checking in and checking out were absolutely amazing, very friendly and very helpful. Thank you for trying to contact me when I left my book in your reception, Our room was very spacious, very clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! Loved the theme of the hotel

I have stayed here before and really enjoyed it, however, this time was a little bit less magical. Upon arrival, the man at the front desk seemed annoyed that we had arrived, and wasn’t particularly welcoming. Instead of telling us anything about the property or anything like that he simply said “if you wanna know anything there’s a sheet on the bed for you.” I don’t know, I just felt really impersonal compared to last time. The room was pretty plain compared to previous rooms. I’ve stayed in, and the air conditioning did not work very well at all. It was quite hot in the room. The beds were very comfortable though and everything else worked just fine. Dining options in the area are very scarce so make sure that you keep that in mind when booking.

This motel was a throwback to the 60s on Route 66. The property was well maintained and the 60s theme extended from the lobby to the radio in the room playing music and even cigarette ads as though you were back in time. I didn’t feel the need to light up though.

Great restoration of a classic Sixties motor lodge, and our quartet of Boomers was old enough to vouch for its authenticity! Rooms are small by today's standards, but the beds were comfortable, and the details - classic radio, magazines, snacks - made it even more fun.

Unique property. They have allergy friendly rooms as well as pet friendly. Cleanest motel in Tumcumcari. They have some nice touches like water bottles and moonpies!!!

This is my third time to stay here. Love the retro 60's vibe, the owner has done an excellent job. Especially love the radio in the room with the old ads playing! Will stay again!

We stayed in a pet friendly room and it was super cute. There was a small dog play area which was very welcome after a long day in the car. There were too many shag rugs for a pet friendly room and previous guests had soiled them. I kept my pup in his crate most of the time as I’m sure he would’ve peed on top of them!

Love love love this place

So much fun! Renovated to be authentically 60s down to the music with a few modern conveniences. Stay here! Also there is a cute delicious coffee shop down the road

This is an old motel, and they lean into that with the vibe and decor. Very quaint! Don't expect a 4-star full-service hotel and it's fine. Staff are friendly. Coffee/tea available in the morning. Pet friendly with a dog run area full fenced in. Tucumcari has seen better days. Dining is VERY limited, especially on Sunday when we were there. There is a full grocery store in town.
