Traveling the last at 5 years, this place offers the ultimate for adult long travel people lim me, look for. Its lake a quite lagoon in an ocean full of storms. Thank you so much for the stay.

Humble but all you need
Humble lodging in an old traditional wooden building. Beds are great and the homemade bread at breakfast is excellent. Everything else is no frills but nothing to complain about. It’s actually refreshing to be in a place that is local in every way rather than an international hotel chain with its anonymous style. The reception is not staffed full time so don’t expect to store luggage after checkout- you may not be able to pick it up later.

A different experience because of the use of the facility by pilgrims on St Olaf’s trail but interesting. Clean, good bakery café, friendly, helpful staff. Very handy for viewing the beautiful cathedral and museums. Also convenient for the old and new parts of the lovely city of Trondheim and for good restaurants.

Fantastisk beliggenhed
Fantastisk beliggenhed. Perfekt spot til et par dage i charmerende Trondheim. I gåafstand til alt. Og med en utrolig rolig og fredfyldt atmosfære. Selv om både værelserne og morgenmaden er simple/simpel, og servicen i receptionen ikke var super imødekommende, ville jeg til enhver tid hellere bo her end på et fancy hotel, hvis jeg skulle til Trondheim. Kan varmt anbefales!

Mer Vandrerhjem enn Hotel
Pilegrimsgården annonserer seg som Hotell, slik vi vurderte det så er det ikke det. Vi sammenlignet det med Vandrerhjem vi har overnattet på tidligere og konkludert med at vi har overnattet på bedre Vandrerhjem med høyere standard enn Pilegrimsgården. Rommet var lite og trangt, selv med at vi kontaktet stedet på forhånd for å få vite romstørrelsen, visste vedkommende i tlf ikke dette. Ikke håndklær på toalettet, måtte minne betjeningen om dette så fikk vi det. På bildene av rommet står det heller ikke hvor mange kvm2 disse er slik at man kan beregne størrelsen før man kommer. Dette er første gang vi opplever at romstørrelse ikke er med i annonsen. Sengene er gode å sove i, det er et pluss. Frokost grei, men kaffen var normalt ikke varm, altså mest lunken...dårlig...beliggenheten er spesiell og sentral, så sånn sett er det greit. 3 døgn på dette stedet er for mye, en natt grei om du trenger et sted å sove. Men for oss en skuffelse og vi kommer nok aldri til å benytte dette tilbudet igjen......

What a unique find! The property is in a wooded country-like setting along the river, but situated in the city center! You can walk to everything and enjoy tea and pastries at the hotel. Perfect!

Très bon séjour dans un environnement calme
Très bon accueil, hôtel situé à proximité de la cathédrale dans un quartier calme, stationnement à proximité de l'hôtel. Nous avons été étonnés d'avoir une chambre aménagée pour les handicapés, chambre spacieuse mais un peu triste avec des lits jumeaux un peu étroit. Le petit-déjeuner a par contre compensé cette impression par sa qualité et ses pains faits maison.

Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Leider ist was mit dem Frühstück schiefgelaufen. Es gab wie angekündigt um 7:30 Uhr kein Frühstück. Auch die Mitarbeiter telefonisch zu kontaktieren war nicht möglich. Es hat dann aber um 9:00Uhr ein Frühstück gegeben.keinFrühstück, auch dii

The accommodation was adorable. It was really cozy and the owner was so nice. There was always tea, coffee and cake from their own bakery :D. Everything was just a short walk away. The only less pleasant thing was that when you looked out of the window there was a graveyard that was part of the cathedral. But that was made up for by the view from the front side of the building with cute house along side the river. Overall it was amazing and would definitely recommend:))

Centre of Trondheim with nearly everything within a short walking distance. Facilities are lovely and charming with a bakery offering still-warm freshly baked bread at breakfast. Perhaps the best bread I've ever had! Staff is pleasant and helpful, and check-in/out setup is very quick and easy. Should I ever return to Trondheim then I will check if there's a vacant room here first :)
