My wife and I had a delightful stat at Villa Aquamarine. As we arrived at the property we were initially concerned that the property was a bit out of the way. However, upon meeting with our host Ana our initial fears were quickly allayed. The property is 10 minutes walk from the village of Okrug which had several good restaurants and decent beeches. You can also take the water taxi into Trogir old town for 5€ per person which was good fun. The accommodation itself was spacious, extremely clean (well done Ivana) and contained everything you could possibly need. The pool area was cozy but again very clean and welcoming. In summary I would highly recommend Villa Aquamarie as a great place to stay.

Efficient taxi transfer from the airport arranged by Anna our host. We out of season and were kindly upgraded to a two bedroom apartment. Lovely and spacious with a super sea facing terrace. Very clean and modern with all amenities we needed including hair dryer, washing machine etc. A lovely touch was being provided with a plate of ham and cheese to enjoy when we arrived. I happily recommend this place and would love to return one day.

The perfect stay

I travel a lot, and have stayed in countless places for work and for pleasure. This was easily one of the top experiences. Location is great - 2 minutes walk from the beach, supermarket and a restaurant. 10-15 minutes from the larger strip of beach and more restaurants and supermarkets. 15 minutes the other direction to historical Trogir. The staff - from Ana who runs the property, to the cleaning staff, and the taxi who they work with - professional, friendly, helpful, and good at their jobs. It’s the little things they do, like fresh cut watermelon, to stopping by the night before we go to say thank you - this is the human touch that makes the difference. The property itself is beautiful and well maintained, and the pool is perfect. I will certainly stay again, there is no reason to look elsewhere!

The place is exceptionally clean, modern, great location. The lady who maintains the upkeep of the apartments daily was very friendly and the regular treats of cakes, watermelon etc.. were very welcomed:-)

We had an excellent week at Villa Aquamarie. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. The small touches of cheese and ham on arrival and then the complimentary cakes which ‘appeared’ in the fridge were lovely. Thank you. Ana was very easy to communicate with and was easy to arrange a transfer through. She even came to say goodbye to us. My only one small comment would be the bed which creaked a lot every time you moved on it. This does need fixing. Otherwise all perfect. Close to a beach and easy access to the boat for a 20 minute ride to Trogir town. Alternatively you take a 20 minute (uphill!) walk which is lovely. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you.

Die Gastgeberin und die Putzfrau waren übernett. Wir wurden jeden Tag mit einer kleinen Aufmerksamkeit überrascht (Mezateller, Kuchen, Wassermelone, Wasserflaschen). Der Pool ist sauber und schön. Die Wohnung ist top ausgestattet und sehr schön.

The apartment was lovely and the location was excellent. We loved the proximity to the beach and the easy walk to the store in the morning for fresh, warm bread. The property manager welcomed us with a wonderful cheese and meat tray and surprised us with a home cooked meal on our third night there. I would highly recommend Villa Aquamarie.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet, komplette Küche, Gäste WC mit WaMa, Balkon mit Esstisch, Badezimmer mit großer Dusche ( familiengerecht), tolle Kommunikation ( Englisch ) mit der Verwalterin, Fernseher über Satellit (auch im Schlafzimmer), Klima in Wohn- und Schlafzimmer. zur Lage: das Zentrum von Trogir ist sehr gut erreichbar. Fußläufig nicht nur über die Hauptstraße. Einkaufen: kleiner Supermarkt um die Ecke, Lidl und Kaufland mit dem Auto im Ort, Kaufhaus und DM im Ort. Restaurant um die Ecke... Strände: Na ja, gibt es auch on Okrug, schönere in Silupje ca 20 Minuten mit dem Auto, dort auch empfehlenswerte Pizzeria. Natürlich alles Kiesstrände, klares Wasser. Boote zu mieten in Okrug, fußläufig von der Unterkunft.

Nytt och fräscht, fin lägenhet och en skön pool. Ägaren Ana och Sofija som fixade på plats såg verkligen till att man kände sig välkommen, tillgängliga och lättsamma prata med. Nästan varje dag ett fat med frukt, skinka etc i kylskåpet. Bra läge med 10-15 minuter promenad till strandstråket Okrug Gornij och 15-20 min in till Trogir. Lätt att ta sig in till Split med båt. Kan definitivt rekommenderas!

Great appartment with seaview, pool and close to the beach. 15-20 min walk to Trogir old town. We arrived in the evening and the host Ana had arranged juice, fruit and a plate with lokal ham, cheese etc for us. During our stay, we also had other treats as watermelon, cake and a homecocked meal om our last night. The only minus was cash payment.

Schoon, luxe complex nabij zeer toeristisch Trogir

Een nieuw kleinschalig appartementen complex op ca. 1,5 km van de oude stad van Trogir. Op terugweg van diverse eilanden voor de Kroatische kust besloten wij een nacht door te brengen in Trogir. Dat was voor ons meer dan voldoende gezien de drukte in en rondom dit stadje in de zomermaanden. Wij zoeken meer rust en dan is Trogir in het hoogseizoen niet de aangewezen plek, doch om aan te doen voor een overnachting prima. Het appartementencomplex is keurig, nieuw en schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Twee TV's ( af- en wasmachine ) etc. Daar ligt het allemaal niet aan. De vraag is of je op deze plek in het algemeen een meerdaagse vakantie wilt vieren...... De zee grenst aan een lelijke scheepswerf en al met al zijn er mooiere plekken langs de Adriatische kust te vinden. NB . let wel dat de afstand naar het oude centrum lopend via een " short cut " kan worden gedaan. Deze is echter redelijk steil en niet voor mensen die minder valide zijn toegankelijk. Al met al voor ons één , twee dagen prima omgeven met alle luxe, langer niet......

Et veldig fint hotell, rent og moderne. Av og til fikk vi overraskelse i kjøleskapet, oppskjært melon, speke skinke og kake. Vi gikk inn til Trogir nesten hver kveld (10-15 min).
