We loved this unique and quirky hotel! The beds were so comfortable I’d rate that 10 stars. The staff was super helpful and friendly the restaurant was superb. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Unique Hotel in a great little town. The rooms are all different. The owner and staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Some of the areas are still being renovated. I would stay there again.

Free parking , hotel with very historic charisma right on Mainstreet in historic downtown of Trinidad, Co. Loved the high ceilings and original wood floors, combined with modern amenities. Room was quiet and had everything we needed, staff was lovely, welcoming and helpful. Hotel restaurant offers delicious food, and a free welcome drink. We greatly enjoyed our 1 night stay.

The room was nice and clean. The Tap Room and Staff who greeted us was great. The hotel is being renovated, and it would have been nice to have known this from Expedia before booking. It will be a great hotel when done. There are no breakfast places within walking distance from the hotel. So, in the future when the hotel is ready, they may consider breakfast offerings.

Perfectly situated in city center. Clearly an 1888 building with All the charm. I love old century buildings, Trinidad is full of them and, this place is a great example. I truly enjoyed my stay.

This is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Trinidad! The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Our train was delayed, and we arrived a bit after 9 PM. Despite the delay, they even reopened the kitchen for us! The rooms are clean, well-decorated, and eco-friendly. Details matter! They left a sleep mask and earbuds for us in the room. The bar downstairs is simply a gem! Will definitely comeback. Suggestion: Book a ride ahead of time if you’re not driving! This is a small town and we had a hard time finding a cab.

GREAT STAY. This is a wonderful old historic (refurbished) downtown building, now a hotel with a tap room and restaurant. Great location. Walking distance to the Amtrak station, a selection of additional restaurants nearby, art galleries and antique shops in the downtown. A lot of western history here. This establishment is a loving work in progress with great potential for the future. As of today everything is fully operational, we wanted for nothing during our stay. Enough modern touches to provide a very comfortable experience. Excellent communications with the staff. Plenty of parking in their private lot. Coffee and microwave provided in the lobby, a referigerator in the room. Highly recommended, you will not find better in Trinidad!

The Taproom Hotel and Pub is an excellent place to stay in downtown Trinidad, Co. Built in 1888 but redecorated into a modern luxury style. The staff give you a welcome beer on tap at arrival. I slept like a baby in a wonderful king sized bed. The drapes are 15 feet tall and the commode is black. There are 28 stairs to get to and from your room but if your ok with them, I'm OK. I will be back!

As a native visiting the area, I was pleasantly surprised to see this historic hotel listed on Expedia. One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the Armed Forces Parade right outside the hotel — perfect street location! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was fabulous. I also loved the skylight, which added a unique touch to the room and atmosphere. My only suggestion would be to add an additional interior lock for added security. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and appreciated the character and history of the hotel.

This was an awesome and unique hotel in downtown Trinidad. The owners were welcoming and let me know what to expect leading up to my stay. They were extremely helpful. The hotel was clean, well decorated, had everything that I needed for my stay and more. I will be staying here every time I am here for work and I highly recommend that you do the same :)
