"Beds were comfy. Room clean.There was a mild stench Oder in the hallway. The breakfast was (blah) a cereal breakfast, instant oatmeal packets, toast, waffle machine. coffee was weak and the juice was watered down. I guess if we had drove a little ways into town , we would have found a Holoday Inn for the same price. But was convenient just off the freeway. "

"We had already driven 13 hours when we started looking for a cheaper hotel. Initially we looked in Raton, but the poor reviews about cleanliness, etc, for the budget hotels in that area made us decide to drive the extra half hour to get to this hotel. We were not disappointed! The hotel was immaculate and well-kept, though older. The sheets and towels were newer, and the beds comfortable. Check-in was so easy, and the view in the morning (we had a mountain view room) was grand. Be aware that there is no breakfast, and the rooms are on the smaller side. I would definitely stay here again."
