Warm welcome from all staff and the peacocks! Rooms were large and very comfortable. Went to dinner locally each evening so can't comment on restaurant. Breakfasts were very good, plenty of choice.

The service was very good. Staff we polite and welcoming. The food was excellent, fresh and good quality. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Whilst many good things about this place, the food on the evening was terrible and as a major let down. The breakfast buffet was a bit better but overall the food was way behind the stature of the place. As a result we would not stay here again.

I liked the peacocks, the "other worldly" nature of the property, its magnificent high ceinged rooms and sense of space; that for a little bit more money one could change a pitstop inton a rare treat.

Lovely setting. Wonderful to see all the wildlife so many peacocks and food to feed them. Staff very friendly and efficient nothing too much trouble for them.

Lovely hotel and spa
Just got back from spending a night here was well maintained clean, staff were very friendly. Dinner at restaurant was very nice with good range of food on menu, breakfast had wide range of food hot and cold. Spa experience was excellent however requested two massages for 60 but was charged separately.

Lovely
Very nice stay. Staff were wonderful and so polite. Fridge didn't work in the room and a bit of a strange smell in the corridor but didn't detract from the overall stay. Swimming pool nice and warm and sauna clean. Would like to see more degradable packaging on the free bath hair gels in the room. Breakfast excellent and again breakfast staff superb.

Really helpful staff. Nice, quiet, big room. Excellent buffet breakfast. Super log fire. Loved the peacocks and being able to feed them. A great experience.

Had an enjoyable 3 day break at Pendley Manor. Staff, food, accommodation, amenities and service were all very good. We have no problem in recommending this hotel.

Showers in the pool area
The pool area should have a working shower. The existing one doesn’t work , the temperature of the water is too hot. Also the two showers in the changing rooms do not work

Fantastic service from booking to check out. The staff made our short (but sweet) stay excellent. Friendly, attentive and genuinely lovely people. The location grounds and hotel were brilliant, and the spa was the icing on the cake Thank you Pendley Manor.

restless night sleep
overall the hotel is good, the building has great history, the grounds are great for a nice walk or cycle. I didnt use the pool but looked nice and well maintained. Cant complain about the food was nice, drinks a little bit over priced. The room was nice and had everything you would need. But sadly the walls are quiet thin, you can hear next door talking. The room i stayed in had a broken extractor fan which made for a sleepless night. Had reception come up at 4am to investigate, maintenance needed calling but not on duty until 9am which was no good me my sleep. So

Since our last stay, lots of work has been done to improve the interior of the hotel and this has really paid off, the decoration is pleasant. Our room was nicely furnished with good quality bedding and was extremely clean! Breakfast was really good, a great buffet selection and all the staff we met during our stay were polite and friendly. They lose a star for the meagre supply of tea & coffee in the room and also because our shower tray was very slow to drain away which caused a small flood! We’ll definitely be back though!
