Great stay with great flexibility

Great location and nice building. We really appreciated the 24-hour check in, as our train got in late. Nice stay overall!

This place sucks and was dirty and unkept. Bathrooms were gross. I’m used to cheap low budget hotels but this was one of the low points of my Europe trip. At least the staff was friendly

I booked it via hotels.com. I did not get the check-in info (codes to get in). I was lucky that some helped! WiFi was very weak. Room came with private bathroom (with a key), but it was outdated, and not too clean. The location is great, 7-8 minutes from the bus station. We enjoyed Trieste, but could have stayed in a nicer place.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Property was filthy and unsafe, would not recommend for females or solo travellers. Simply not worth the money when you could spend a bit more money for a much nicer place that doesn’t stink and isn’t dirty.

Access to the accommodation and room worked, but sometimes required multiple tries. My room had a tiny shower that was quite inconvenient to use, even though I am quite slim. Bed sheets had several small blood stains and the mattress was very soft, which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Overall quite clean and relatively silent (good windows).

Avoid if you can. Very dirty and wet

The hostel itself is located very well in Trieste. Close to the train station. The room that we got was not very clean, with many stains on sheets and trash behind bed. The bathroom is shared with many other rooms and is not very clean. Anytime someone showers, the floor of the bathroom gets flooded which has caused the door to have water damage and not be able to be closed without many attempts. The only attempt to remedy this from the owner, was to put different towels and bathing mats on the floor, which only added to the stink of dirty water from the entire hallway. The water leaked out of the bathroom and onto the hallway. You get what you pay for. There were also attempts to get into our room several times, throughout the day and night, so lock your door if you are staying here.
