Perfect location and good hotel. We had a fantastic view of the Porta Nigra. The gentlemen at night and in the morning who worked at the front desk were amazingly friendly and helpful, the older lady with glasses not at all friendly.

A lovely stay in Trier. The staff at the Mercure Hotel were genuinely kind and helpful throughout my visit, and the room was very clean and comfortable. One of my favorite moments was waking to a beautiful sunrise view from my window over the city. A peaceful place to return to after exploring Trier.

The outstanding feature of this hotel is its location. Easy access to train station and across the street from Porta Nigra and the old town. The hotel itself is comfortable and a bit old-school, we had a spacious room and the largest bed I have ever seen.
