We booked two rooms at Town Inn Hotel through Expedia. After a long day of travel, we checked in around 11:30 PM, only to be extremely disappointed by the condition of the rooms. Both rooms were unclean, had a strong odor of urine and smoke, and the bathrooms were in terrible condition.
We immediately reported these issues to the front desk. Harry, the staff member on duty, advised us to cancel the booking and contact Expedia for a refund. I spoke with an Expedia representative who assured us that the cancellation would be processed. Based on this assurance, we checked out and arranged accommodation at a different hotel.
However, two days later, Expedia informed us that the hotel had refused to authorize the cancellation, despite their failure to provide rooms in acceptable condition.
I strongly advise avoiding this hotel. The rooms and washrooms were filthy, and the management is unhelpful. It feels like a scam intended to take people’s money without delivering basic service or cleanliness.
