"Lovely atmosphere, staff were fabulous! TV’s a box and channels are fuzzy …. Possibly adds to the rustic charm. Room was comfy and well laid out. Rainfall shower head was great but shower barely made it to warm and sound proofing is definitely not a thing here. However, these minor inconveniences weren’t enough for me to not want to go back as it’s such a great spot with a cool vibe"

"Fantastic place. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with living room (2 sofas) and full kitchen. Washing machine and a drier. A patio with chairs and table, big bathroom, great shower, heated towel rail. Views from main bedroom and living room to the mountains and lake. Netflix on the large TV. This was a perfect stop off on a long road trip of the South Island. Wish we’d had more than just 2 nights here. Can’t believe what great value this was. We had a ground floor room so you do get a little noise from above (didn’t affect us) but you can request a 2nd floor apartment. I’d definitely recommend it, so much space and everything looked new. Great staff too. Wanaka is a nice little town. Eat at Big Fig for super fresh cooked food."
