「The location is superb and beautiful to look at, as are the grounds. Unfortunately we didnt find the hotel to be 4 star. There was no fridge, no safe, telephone in the room disconnected so any queries we had meant going up and downstairs. The reception was closed at 9.30pm and no staff on site. We were given a key to a rear door to let ourselves in. The bathroom was also dated and needed a refresh. The hospitality tray wasnt filled each day. No fresh milk (as no fridge!) 「Great staff, bilingual and genuinely helpful. Housekeeping excellent. Breakfast is a standout. Spa access, mineral pool, robes and towels — all top notch. The exterior needs power washing and paint, and the carpets are overdue for replacement — musty throughout. Invest in the upkeep and this place would be outstanding.」
