「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」
「Lovely small, older hotel. Clean and comfortable, very welcoming staff with surprisingly good restaurant. The only downside is the rather bizarre location. The hotel snd adjacent train whistle stop are about all there is to the tony hamlet of Morar. The options for getting to the larger village of Mallaig (2.75 miles away) are quite limited if you don’t have your own car. You can wait for the twice a day train, take your chances with the intermittently available single car for hire, or...
