"The property was on a working farm and is pet friendly. Located just outside of Pwllheli. The owners live on site and were very friendly & welcoming. The facilities were wonderful from the swimming pool to the games room. Set in the beautiful Welsh countryside with stunning views."

The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. "A very attractive house in a quiet location away from it all with superb views down to the sea. Very well equipped property with everything we could have wanted for cooking meals etc. The hot water supply was not wholly reliable and requires some maintenance. Also there was a risk of injury from protruding carpet grippers on the stairs which caused scratches to bare feet. Overall, a good place to spend a holiday."
